We had a table booked today for 4 adults , 2 children and 2 dogs. We were super impressed with the whole visit from arriving until the end . The service and atmosphere was amazing by all staff. The children were invited to do an Easter egg hunt which they loved, the dogs got plenty of fuss with water and treats on tap for them whenever they wanted. We had an amazing time and also ate some incredible food which was very well presented and tasted extremely good. The honey pot desert was out of this world from presentation to taste ! We have always loved this restaurant but this time was extra special ! A credit to our wonderful host Allison who was so welcoming , friendly and attentive ! Great job all round guys. Thanks for a wonderful visit !

The perfect Sunday lunch with family. We preordered lunch, which was served promptly after our arrival. Food and portion size was great, Service was exceptional. Pub is paw and kid friendly. Thoroughly recommend this pub.

Lovely pub with great variety of dishes on the menu. We went at about 6pm on a Monday night so was quiet and we got a warm welcome, good service and enjoyed the food. First time visiting but I’m sure we’ll be back.Kid-friendliness: Good variety on the kids’ menu.

Nice atmosphere, and the staff are friendly enough. But one person in our party didn't receive their dinner, so when it finally came they were the only ones eating. Then we ordered dessert, and after half an hour waiting when we went to cancel it as we had to leave, it eventually came.If they were busy or short staffed then they could have let us know that there would be a long wait.Probably won't go back to eat here.
Everything is just perfect in this place, the food portions were big, and it tasted just delicious. The service was top-notch and quick, and the prices were reasonable... highly recommended.Parking: The parking is just beside the place, it is free and there were plenty of available places to park.

We stopped for breakfast after a walk, and warmed up by the open fire. The food was incredible, and the service was even better. Thank you so much Paul, we will certainly be back. What a gem of a place!*update* We returned, and brought our friends with us for lunch; we let them know how great The Barge was, and once again our visit exceeded our expectations.
