We stopped for a quick bite to eat and got medium chips to share.The chips were perfectly cooked and lovely and fresh and perfectly salted and just the right amount of vinegar too.Very quick and friendly service

The one star is reflective of my experience last night. I have used Walnut Tree Fish & Chips before and always been very happy with the quality, quantity and friendliness of the establishment. Imagine my delight when I discovered then on Too Good To Go.........same great experience, a fraction of the cost and saving wasted food too. Lots of other people have the same idea as 'bags' sell put very quickly.Yesterday I was lucky enough to get one so went along at 8pm looking forward to my 'chippy' dinner.They were Closed. ?They were in fact closed all week by the sign on the door. How is that possible you can be listing on Too Good To Go yet be shut? So frustrating, disappointing and a waste of time and fuel.What's more frustrating is they are still listing food available today.........how many other wasted trips are there going to be???

The cod they are selling is definitely not cod ,it’s tasteless cheap crap , do not use this chip shop they are ripping off the public

Popped in as we were close by must say the best fish and chips we have had in a long time and you were right the turbot was lovely, everything cooked fresh . Staff we’re helpful. Worth going a few extra miles for this we will be back.Vegetarian options: Good selectionDietary restrictions: Nice to see the choice here

I'm very surprised I expected so much more when I saw all the reviews but sadly its overpriced and the food quality is poor. Its a shame I expected more. Maybe I have just visted on a off day. But won't be returning.
