The building is an old pub, nothing special but the food and service are superb.

Food is always amazing, staff are very friendly. Can have a beer whilst waiting. Could definitely do with decorating though it's starting to look a bit grubby.

I have been here several times in the past and absolutely love the food - that has not changed. What has changed is the hygiene, the carpet floor is very sticky to walk on, menus really dirty and overall just not nice at all, very grubby! It is such a shame as the food and the staff are fabulous.

OK. Nothing more. Very expensive. Need to spring clean restaurant part. More spiders than customers

Food and service were simply excellent. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable meal

Terrible meal. The food was bland and tasteless. I left most of mine which was probably for the best as my son ended up with a mild case of food poisoning. I hadn't realised the restaurant has a food hygiene rating of 2 but I won't be going again.

I took away the meal, but I can see it is a good place to come and dine as well with a broad selection of drinks.A broad selection of food and they never intended this due to the space, but you can see right into the kitchen and hear and smell the cooking. A very modern approach!Chief Waiter is the owner. It's not that far from Milton Keyes and an easy journey and just off the M1. Travelling up North? Well, a good place as an alternative to the awful Motorway Service Areas. Takes 5 mins from the Motorway junction.Parking: Outside the front directly opposite Aston Martin. Seems a few places and no restrictions. Mind you it was bitterly cold when I was there and snowing!

We where dining in and was going ok and then realised that some of the chicken in the dish was raw. Apology was provided but they still charged us for the whole meal. Not impressed

Freddie and I dined at the magic wok this week whilst on a business trip The set dinner we chose had plenty of quantity but whilst offered nothing unpleasant was a basic chinese buffet pleasant but nothing particularly memorable The venue is part small pub and part sit down cantonese restaurant The bill of £58 included two pints of Cider and was very reasonable There’s plenty of free parking accessible via drive to the side of the property All in all a fair and reasonable offering

The food at the Magic Wok is pleasant enough; the stir fried seafood in a bird's nest is a slightly unusual choice, for example. But it's competent rather than exceptional, with a tendency for a degree of sameness underlying the sauces. And prices in the restaurant are now a little on the high side. Everything we had was cooked to order, and portions were of a reasonable size. It's borderline between 3 & 4 blobs, but I think the prices just push it the wrong side.
