Came for the 4th time here for a birthday meal , particularly came for the wings & halloumi which is usually outstanding BUT this visit was so disappointing, it appears the chef or way of cooking/preparing them has changed? All dishes were sent back at first because they were cold. The wings & halloumi flavour is great but there’s no “flavour” the halloumi looked like it hadn’t been fried & sauce poured on top , same as the wings , before they were caramelised & sticky in a pot , I won’t return unfortunately ?

Was recommended this place by a dear friend of mine and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. Our waitress was very attentive however she must have finished or went on break half way through our visit, after that I think we got forgotten about.

Great menu choices and some nice food, although some details are occasionally missed.... chunky chips not properly cooked through, dripping wet spinach, small fish for price.... That said, is definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been there with my family included a 2 years old boy. It wasn’t my first time there. They have been nice and helpful. Food was delicious, also pizza (I’m Italian, I’m spoiled with pizza). Service quick and warm. I liked a lot benissimo terrine.

We went to the olive tree for our Christmas eve family dinner. We were welcomed warmly and seated quickly. Ffion provided excellent service, she was friendly and was very knowledgeable of the menu. The service was well paced and made the evening even better.

Great lunch started off with Harissa chips, then lovely white fish with chunky chips & minted peas, my wife ordered the Moules which were tasty. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the price of a small glass of Pinot Grigio at £7.40 + 10% & a large Côtes du Rhône at £9.65 +10% is a little to steep when you look at what they pay for the bottle. Then the waiter asked if we wanted dessert & left us for 15 minutes without bringing a menu so we asked for the bill & left without dessert. I would like to add the restaurant automatically adds a discretionary 10% for service, had it not been the fact we were approaching Christmas I would have disputed the tip.

Our table wasn't ready when we arrived but we're given free drinks as a sorry. All staff were very welcoming, friendly. Service was a little slow, but the restaurant was very busy so not surprised. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend, even on a busy day.

Disappointed with our visit on Tuesday 11th , service very slow - took almost 3 hours for 2 courses. ( 4 people) No water delivered to table when seated and a long while for order to be taken and served. Had no call back to check food .ordered gammon with chunky chips but was served with skinny fries! It’s a shame , very disappointed since our last visit .

I booked a solo table for the Game Night and it was just incredible - each course was absolutely delicious and you got a half bottle of Sangiovese each (my fave!) I was served by a few people, but shoutout to Ladan who looked after me so well. Please do another Game Night soon!
