I love visiting The Swan. The staff are always so lovely, the atmosphere is brilliant, the people that go there are top and the food is amazing. Right now they have Mussels in a Thai and Lemongrass Sauce as a special starter, and OMG - they’re spectacular!! They don’t keep them on the Specials Board for long though, (that’s my only gripe ?). Wish they were in the main menu, Anyway, I totally recommend eating here, but you do need to book several days in advance - it’s very popular!

Always lovely. Never had a bad meal over many years. All the meals served to our group were very good and the service was friendly and efficient. Prices of main courses were reasonable but felt the dessert prices at £8 are a little steep.
First visit to The Swan but will definitely return. Brilliant food really well presented and cooked. Excellent service and reasonably priced.

Staff so rude! Twice I ordered a pint of coke amongst other drinks, both times, the young girl serving automatically put ice in the glass. I politely said sorry no ice thank you. Both times, the ice was thrown back in the ice bucket and then sullenly put on the bar! The first time I chose to ignore the attitude, the second time I asked what the problem was as no drink had been poured, I was told very rudely that I should have said before they put the ice in the glass that I didn’t want ice! Really rude and haven’t been in since. Not nice attitude of the staff.

Christmas get together for 6 ladies. We all loved the atmosphere, cosy friendly and buzzing! The service and food was excellent and it was good value for money. We had the festive menu all really enjoyed our meals particularly the sea bass .. the tomatoes were amazing! All of us said we would be back. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us brilliantly.
