The food was great in the restaurant - waiter service not bad too. They provide a comfortable eating environment. I did however found towards the end of the evening that certain staff members to be rather rude - this included management and mostly directed at the management. That said it requires better customer service.

The lady hosting and waiters helping were amazing. So very helpful and lovely. We haven’t had Indian food very often however at first taste the children were smitten - our tastes were completely catered for. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Thank you Mowchak Stokenchurch for making our holiday!

Food was incredible! We impulse came here passing through the area. The staff were really helpful, a lady came with recommendations. She knew her flavours for sure. Our waiter was so kind and attentive. Compliments to chef, the food was piping hot and the naans were fresh and fluffy. Garlic of course. You have to try the coconut ice cream!

Tempted by other reviews but very disappointed. Onion bhaji small and hard. Chicken in dishes precooked and hard. Stuffed pepper tasteless. Not a good experience ?

We arrived very close to closing time, but the staff went out of their way to serve amazingly delicious food!! Even though we arrived late, we were given an outstanding dining experience!
Really impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent service. I would definitely recommend and we will be going back with our family soon, perhaps for the Sunday buffet which sounds delicious. We had a popadom each with a nice selection of sambals while we looked at the menu. I was impressed to see they served local beer on the menu which was very nice. We shared an onion bhaji to start which came as a 4 so it was ideal to have 2 each, they even gave us an extra plate with a little salad on - I thought that was a nice touch. As mains we ordered Chicken Tikka Massala (omg … this was so delicious, such a lovely red vivid sauce and very tasty) and Chicken Tikka Korai (also very tasty) with a naan, mushroom rice and a side of saag aloo (also very good). All in all, it was a lovely and tasty meal, which came in good portions so at the end of the meal we felt nice and full but not bloated. I’ll definitely come again it was great.

Compelled to review. We get Mowchak delivered. Invariably quick, tasty each time. This time the food was delicious to a morsel. Each bite tells tales of a chef that cares. Really superb and amazed a take away is so good. Until next time!

After our house flooded we found ourselves living in temporary accommodation in Stokenchurch and visiting the Mowchak most weeks. The service is spot on, and our little family are always made to feel very at home by Bushra and the team. Everything is always delicious and the beer is cold - perfect!
