Eaten here twice recently on our way home from Cambridge. Nothing was awful, we simply waited a very long time for service on our last visit; to the point where we were genuinely considering leaving and getting Mc D's instead. Each time the food has been fine, but not interesting, and certain elements have been cold or clearly reheated. Last time my partners' fries were stone cold and had to be sent back. It's warm and cozy, plenty of places to sit. Staff are friendly. I've just never had the impression that it's well run or that the wait staff know what the kitchen are doing..

Food is good. A cut above the normal restaurant chains. No hidden awkward service charges added on. Worth going there just for the sticky toffee

This is one of our real favourite go-to places.Easy parking right outside the door, located in a beautiful spot, a bend on the River Cam.The service is always spot-on, staff attentive, speedy, friendly. The decor and atmosphere are so pleasant inside and out, like a lovely traditional old English pub to high standards, with log fire in winter. In summer, you can sit outside by the river.Lazily watch the ducks and boats go by. Just perfect. Food is always super tasty to a great high standard with decent sized portions. As a vegetarian/vegan, I would appreciate maybe one or two more options, as we eat there so regularly-hence only 4 stars for food. But we love going and eating there and highly recommend it. They do rooms too I believe, but never stayed as we are local but if the restaurant is anything to go by, I would think you would have a very pleasant experience indeed. Enjoy!

Went to this restaurant which we have visited often With my new puppy as it as it says on website that it is dog friendly. On arrival we were informed that we were unable to have a meal but only bars snacks in the bar area. I was quite prepared to sit in the bar area, but I did not realize that I would not be able to order any sort of meal to the bar area as they could not deliver a meal from the restaurant to the bar area.I would not say this pub was dog friendly!

We eat here from time to time and have yet to be disappointed. Today lunchtime was no different, lovely quiet relaxed atmosphere. We had a leisurely drink and meal, looked after by the delightful Romina who recognised us from previous visits. It is definitely one of our automatic goto places for midday drinks and eats. They have never let us down.

We have always enjoyed our meals at the Bridge, but this is the second time we had breakfast and once again we were not disappointed Romina is a fantastic member of their team on both occasions we were made to feel very welcome nothing is to much trouble to ensure your experience is enjoyable, the food was just fantastic, prices are very good and even better if you use tesco vouchers...Great location with walks along the river Cam looking forward to going back soon

Sunday roast was good but the roast potatoes were old and stale and had been microwaved. The Ice cream Sundae was delicious. Cosy atmosphere inside and great patio on the river outside. The staff didn’t seem that happy to be working there.

Booked here for a table of 7.From the greeting to the goodbye the service we received was like going back several years when service in restaurants were of a high standard. The whole dining experience was perfect.Greeted with a smile and had attentive service throughout the two courses. Never had anyone’s glasses empty and the food was just superb.Great value for money and would recommend this place to anyone.A lovely pub within a great setting and perfect atmosphere.

We had Christmas Day lunch at the Bridge and we couldn’t have had a better time. We were greeted with a beaming smile and a “Merry Christmas” on arrival, and we could feel the warm and cosy ambience as soon as we walked through the door. We were shown to our table and spent the next two hours eating some wonderful food and having a lovely time. The staff were cheerful and attentive but not in your face and we had a nice “interval” between courses, I.e weren’t rushed. All in all a very pleasant experience.
