Popped in for a quick drink and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff. We both tried a festive hot chocolate options, which was tasty and we didn't have to wait long for it to be made. The cafe itself had a slightly less welcoming and cosy atmosphere compared to others of the chain, I think in part due to the brightness of the lights and also because most of seats were hard wooden chairs and tables, with only a couple of more comfortable armchair options.

I thought the idea was to achieve the same experience across the whole of any given brand. So it's difficult to create a particular atmosphere in a chain or franchise.

Nice cuppa tea and cinnamon bun whilst I waited for my tyres to be replaced nearby. Can't fault really.

I was served by genuinely the nicest person I've ever met... Often you go to 'chain' coffee shops and the staff are disinterested but the barista (didn't catch his name, but says Josh on the receipt) was super friendly and helpful, and a credit to Costa.

One of the better smaller ones. A few vgn savory options at least (unlike Huntingdon, Cromer etc). Faster service. But very few plug points and dark towards the back

First time at this Costa, unfortunately the coffee was very watery and not drinkable. I have put in a complaint.
Usually this Costa is fairly good, but recently I have switched to decaf for health reasons and it’s the worst decaf I’ve ever tasted.
