My recent visit to Costa left me with mixed feelings. On a quiet afternoon with only five customers around, we placed our drink orders. However, the barista's attitude was less than stellar. She appeared visibly impatient, rolling her eyes as she sipped her drink through a straw without uttering a word. When I asked about the restroom, her response was equally uncommunicative - a slow nod without any guidance on its location. The lack of welcoming and friendly service has left me with reservations about returning to this place.

We went in Costa this afternoon in hills road about 15.20 PM, chap wasn't very friendly about us buying a drink even though shop doesn't close to 16.00 pm he had already closed off half the shop which he could let us sit as we we're only going to stop for 1 quick drink then go other part of shop was crowded and wasn't much space , just think he could let us sit it at quiet side , just his attitude wasn't very customer friendly, so if you go in there after 15.00 PM be warned

Worst unwelcoming personal ever. Not the girl on the counter, but the guy.People like him, should not work in service management

Had a great little time in Costa on Hills Road Cambridge, staff where courteous and hpfull Jamie went out of his way to help me and had a nice chat with Tom, my daughter and myself were made to feel most welcome, and the Coffee/Hot Chocolate were really good☕???

Bought medium cappuccino and two almond croissants. Paid £7.20, a ridiculous price, especially as the croissants were old (tasted as if they were baked in 2010). I could have complained but then this review could not have pointed out that the criteria they use to decide what should and should not be sold are seriously inadequate.

First time in this city good service not bad coffee stocks low for sandwiches still got something

It was OK - comfortable and clean and a nice table with a view of the street. At £3.05 for a small latte, though, I would have hoped for a full glass. Nearly two inches at the top was froth - finished in no time.

The staff are friendly, although there never seems to be many around, it's often one person doing everything. There seem to close the seating area quite a lot, possibly because they are short staffed.
