Drive-through voice was polite. Then it just got silly. Having worked at mcdoanlds for 4 years, I get it... you're supposed to park cars in the bays, but you are also supposed to try and clear them ASAP. According to the grill sticker on my wrap, 11 minutes went by between my wrap being made and our food being brought out to us. 1x wrap, 1x mcmuffin and two drinks. Not a difficult order. To top things off, we were missing a straw for our drinks and the hashbrown that went with the order. Wrap also had not been put together well. Take the word wrap, remove the 'W' and replace it with a 'C'.

Food wasn't too bad but the server was rude and the wait time for just a child was an absolute shambles... 15 minutes to cook some nuggets!!! Really???Anyway as far as Maccys go it deffo needs expanding being so close to the football ground and the queues being so long for the drive thru and 20+ orders waiting like us inside the restaurant!!Parking: Car park only had around 15 spaces and 100% needs extending to cater for the number of customers you have coming in there.I'm a blue badge holder and the 2 disabled spaces were taken up by 2 work vehicles and no blue badges on show. Wouldn't take 20 seconds for a staff member to check this once in a while as they are there for customers with blue badges!!

Very poor vegetarian options at breakfast - server offered to remove meat, which doesn't make it vegetarian. Shame, as their lunch and dinner menu has great veggie and vegan options.

Utterly disgusting service. Person taking order at the drive thru was extremely rude. Asked for information on the spices in chicken selects as there's some I can't have. He gives us a rude "oh my god" under his breath, disappears for two seconds then comes back and goes "just pepper". Then checked the menu online and it has more than just pepper, including paprika which I can't have! Now have payed for food I can't eat.Dietary restrictions: I can't have paprika. Asked if there was any in chicken selects and he tells me there's only pepper in a rude manner, then I look up the ingredients and see paprika is in them!!

Crikey what is wrong with clientele at MacDonald? Instavolt charging bays are for electric vehicles not morons after burgers fries and coffee. Like blocking a petrol pump at a petrol station. CCTV required with lifetime bans for idiots parking one after the other in these parking slots!

Quick stop off for food. Ordered via the app and although the restaurant was busy our meal was with us within 2 minutes of sitting down.

Waited almost 30 minutes for our order and was told by management it was our own fault for placing a large order of 6 standard burgers and chips. Awful customer service.

I believe I had food poisoning on 1/2 as I was violently sick 2 hours after eating a quarter pounder and fries, I was due a bone scan at the hospital and when I returned became very ill and the scan could not go ahead as iwas sent to A&E from 3.30 to 10.20 pm!! It took me two days to feel ok again! Today 20/2 returned for my apt and all was ok and did NOT go to Macdonald's Newmarket Road, I will never go again!!! Beware or maybe report on Cambridge City Council web for Environmental Health to check it out? Ps Rose Crescent is excellent compared!
