Have been here twice now; it’s nice and chilled with good selection from of drinks. We had some beer this evening and watched football as there is plenty screens to watch football/snooker/rugby etc, there is also smoking area in back of the bar, and it was not too busy today so had enough places for sitting. Nice bar staff.

The staff are so rude !! The worst part of my experience was the amount of times I was Asked if I could get any cocaine (3 times by 3 different people ) in this pub and it really does seem like it’s tolerated it’s so obvious younger crowds and older crowds are doing it basically Infrount off staff so I think there is possibly there is Maybe some collusion with the owner or manager. Which should be looked into this is far from a family friendly pub so keep Your children AWAY !!! Just seems funny that this place is totally fine for people to use drugs in the toliet Infrount of other members of the Public and customers . NOT A for people who are not locals !! as staff seem to act funny when you don’t normally or regularly go in there . Rude arrogant staff Only thing I did enjoy was the food or drinks ☹️

Saturday morning visit 26 November 2023 for coffee - 2 cappuccinos @ £3.50 What was served - Barely had any coffee taste at all and very much like an instant out-of-the-jar dirt cheap brand! No brown sugar! No chocolate! Simply couldn't drink it and...not having any expectation that the rude Irishman behind the bar would be at all receptive to any words on the matter (in much the same manner as our requests for brown sugar and chocolate were received), we simply returned the barely touched 'coffees' to the bar with a passing comment on how terrible it was as we walked out. The barmen was quick to reply "you're terrible". Needless to say, we will certainly NOT be returning.

Super clean throughout (the toilets were spotless), lovely food, really dog friendly, polite and efficient staff, and friendly regulars too. We couldn't fault it! I had a pizza which was really good, and my boyfriend had a burger, which he said he enjoyed a lot (and he's quite fussy!) We didn't use the beer garden, but it looked great. The kind of place I can imagine it would be easy to sit for hours in!

It’s really a shame to be writing this as I had a friend down from Bristol and I wanted to show him some good guiness and and proper pub,We were having a lovely night and had a few pints of guiness and a couple games of darts, me and my mate went to the toilet for a wee together and got accused of doing drugs, my friend is a police officer but didn’t bother saying. so rude about the whole situation and got a very homophobic feeling from the owner ( that’s not me being a snowflake either)As I said it’s a huge shame because I loved coming here for the guiness and a good chat but I will no longer be coming back due to the rude owner and truly poor attitude, there’s a way going about things and he just didn’t care ( also telling my friend to leave the pub. ) the pub we’ve spent so much money in and had a lovely time in. I will stop telling my clients to come here and will definitely will not be returning, it was true what they said about the owner being a prick
