Absolutely thrilled to have found this wonderful restaurant, it is absolutely the best meal I have had in years. My husband and I had lunch on a Saturday to celebrate a birthday and we intend to come back as often as we can manage! The service is relaxed, friendly, efficient and professional. The food is exquisite.

Food was exceptional. Our 3 starters were olives, cauliflower fritters and pork& peppercorn terrine - all delicious. Then 2 of us had burgers which were excellent and 2 of us had the pie of the day, which was chicken, bacon & tarragon - a beautiful individual pie with perfect pastry. Desserts were wonderful too, even though we didn't really have room. It didn't matter hugely, but the service was very slow, particularly at the start when we made the mistake of asking for 2 minutes to think about what drinks we wanted when we sat down and then waited 20 for anyone to return. Would definitely return for the food though.

Beautiful pub. Cosy atmosphere, REALLY good food and they serve Bitburger. What more do you need? Highly recommend.

What a fantastic meal. It's rare that both my wife and I have 3 courses, even rarer when we both rate each and every course a 10/10. That’s what happened tonight so very please to give this review a big thumbs up. Wonderful food, good surroundings and pleasant and attentive staff.

My husband & I went on New Year’s Eve day. All staff are very welcoming, friendly & extremely helpful. It’s excellently managed by Jane & her husband who is the chef. We have never had a bad meal there & (we have been going there for the past 3 years) Food is absolutely delicious, excellent well presented & reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend it & give it 5+stars

Went out for an evening meal. Food was excellent, there was plenty of choice on the menu and when our meals came they were lovely and hot and very tasty. The service came with a smile. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and recommend this pub for good pub grub.

This is a local eatery riding on the coattails of its previous Michelin Guide inclusion. The tired repetitive menu is only equalled by the horrendous attitude of the owner. Despite spending the best part of £200 between 3 of us on starters, mains and wine - the owner took umberidge and decided to lay out her expectations for guests 25years the junior to herself in full earshot of the other diners.Apparently telling stories and enjoying company is inappropriate in such a high-brow public house.Had such high hopes after a visit with 6 guests 6months previously - but even after offering an olive branch to hear the landlady's point of view we were told "it's my opinion, it's my resteraunt"My opinion is - You can keep your overpriced bad attitude. (Your soda bread does stack up - but as Iriahman I can make that with my eyes closed on a Sun afternoon for a lot less grief!

Great service fantastic food, and nice choice of real ale. Has a snug bar if you or not eating in the restaurant side. Great place. Particularly good for office outings or taking clients to lunch.

Best place for a roast in Biggleswade area. I had the roast beef. It came pink and tender with all the trimmings on the side. My girlfriend had pork loin which was juicy and came with lovely crackling. I've also been in the summer before for drinks only where I enjoyed beautiful Bedfordshire countryside views from their beer garden with a cold pint of German lager in hand ??
