This is a very pleasant and airy restaurant. There is lots of space inside and out. A little bit clinical inside but they have tried to make it interesting with the decor. The food is good if bland, the curry is barely detectable but pleasant nonetheless. Visited for the first time last week and I will definitely be back. Lovely gardens the daffodils were stunning. A lovely house filled with antiquities and interest.
Unfortunately didn’t get to try the cafe but it must be good as the queue nearly stretched to the door ?

I always visit Redwoods Restaurant before starting my walk. It is clean, good selection of food and drink which is reasonably priced. The staff are friendly as well.Kid-friendliness: Selection of food and drinks for children with high-chairs available.Parking: Good size with an overflow car park. Places for disabled people.Wheelchair accessibility: On the flat.

Had a lovely couple of hours walking around today the Snowdrops were wonderful .
The addition of the coffee hut at the playground is a much welcome addition and the cakes and coffee were great .

BITTERLY disappointed with Anglesey Abbey today having been turned away because we have dogs. Our dogs are ALWAYS under control and are much better behaved than some badly behaved families with kids and there a lot of them about!
Our visit today cost the National Trust cost the “charity” £127 as we were looking to rejoin and visit others in the area such as Wicken Fen and Wimpole Hall as well as our home in Yorkshire. However after this discriminatory approach we won’t be visiting a NT property again!
We had been NT members for over 25 years but cancelled,due to their money grabbing attitude in Lockdown refusing to extend memberships. I am a member of a number of organisations who just extended the membership while they were closed. Can I suggest the NT look at Castle Howard?
The National Trust is becoming an elitist organisation and can only continue if it attracts the general public, and it won’t do that if it EXCLUDES the people it claims it needs.
IF ANY SENIOR MANAGER FROM THE NT ACTUALLY READS THIS I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO DISCUSS THIS, ButI expect this to be deleted ASAP!!!!!!!!!

Hot food isn't around for long. Sandwiches in short supply and cakes made from poor quality ingredients. Only saving grace is good service by the staff.
