Been coming here for many years and used to be the best place to get a nice meal ( when it was bogof). It really went downhill with bland and dry food so we've not been for years. Shame as its our local. We decided to go and have lunch to see if it has improved. I can confirm it has slightly. The food was better than we have had in the previous few years, but it was OK, nothing special. I felt there wasn't that much choice on the menu; which was also sticky. No waiting staff anymore and have to order by the bar or through the app, but not all the meals are on there so kinda pointless. They have a children's play area with a few activity tables that was black with grime and no batteries. If you supply toys please clean it. I can see on Google they close a bit later now. 10pm was very early for a restaurant/pub. We used to go and play pool and had to leave before 10pm! Would be nice of they opened for breakfast as we dont have anywhere close by to get a breakfast without driving miles. Lots here that can be improved

We arrived at 7.15 as it said online open till 9, the kitchen closed at 7.30 so we quickly gave our order to Simon, friendly and helpful chap! Jo brought us our food quite quickly he was very friendly and polite, food was very nice. Only reason for 4 stars was because it was virtually empty but it was nice and quiet!!Vegetarian options: Nice Thai style curry!

We had a table of 13, the service from Annemarie was excellent, she took the orders for food and drink, ensured food came out all together, checked regular to see if things were ok, cleaned tables as soon as finished with other members of staff, food was fresh and cooked well so Thankyou to the chef, all staff was pleasant and friendly.
