This is a good sized store with a large range of goods for inside and outside the home. There is also a range of clothing upstairs. Checkout is normally terrible here. There are a maximum of five tills for a rather large store. One of these tills doubles as customer services and click and collect and one till is usually unmanned. In effect there are only three tills. Queues build very quickly and there are regularly 50-60 customers queuing to be served and this is on a midweek morning. On my last visit i was queuing for 15 minutes to buy one item. Asda really need to look at enlarging and improving the checkout experience.

As shops go, it's nothing special. There is free onsite parking, toilets and being situated in a retail park, there are other shops you can visit as well. I've always found the organisation of the shop to be a bit haphazard, I'm not sure of where the responsibility of this lies (customers or shop assistants...) but it's not always clear where items are and the shop assistants aren't always the friendliest! However, on this occasion, the lady who dealt with me was friendly and helpful, which made a refreshing change! There is a George clothing range for all genders and ages available here but be warned, even though the shop itself doesn't shut till 8pm on weeknights, the changing rooms do at 5pm.There's a range of homeware, electrical appliances and kitchen/cookery items as well as a click and collect for online George orders.

Prices not bad but not my top places to shop

Nothing special. Was better when they had more tills, for some reason they've removed the ones from upstairs and the self service ones so expect a long wait at this time of year

I went in to buy ream of A4 paper and pack of mens underwear. A4 paper well priced at £2.90. Very disappointed at the pricing of the mens underwear. £16 for two packs of £9 for one pack. I only wanted to get one pack. Why should I pay more than if I were to buy only one pack. If simply priced at £8 a pack, I'd have bought them. Ended up not buying anything and put the paper back too. Went to buy the items elsewhere.

Always a great shopping experience. Lots of choice and some real bargains. I really like this shop.

On the positive side, they had a fantastic selection of dresses and the quality of the garments was impressive. While the staff was polite, they didn't offer much assistance in helping me find the right dress, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to receive more personalized attention.

Terrible customer experience during exit owing to racial discrimination by the security at exit. We were asked if we “paid” for the products we were putting into our own bags from the trolley near the exit. This was intended to suggest that we were sneaking things without paying. Background: We are new into UK and were told Asda Living as a good place for clothing and uniforms. We went there on 23rd September and shopped carrying our own bags. Post shopping, we came near exit and started to move our stuff from the trolley into our own bags. The exit security lady came to us and asked us to show the receipt and matched all the items we were putting in our own bags. Of course she didn’t check for everyone leaving the store except us. Anyway, at exit we would be showing her the receipt as well as it would buzz if anyone was to steal. But only because we don't look Brit and carried our own bags, she thought it to be in her right to check us inside the Asda Living space itself. This left us feeling humiliated and questioning ourselves on why we came to this place and spent our hard earned £250.We will of course be never going there again and intend to return back all the purchases owing to such narrow mindset and terrible experience.

Poor security mannerisms and training. We were questioned on our purchase under the garb of it may buzz at exit. Right after the payment as we walked towards the exit, the exit security lady came upto us, asked for payment receipt which is not under the purview of her role. She just wanted to show/indicate that we were packing without paying. This is not the first time and a number of non-white customers are questioned. #racialdiscrimination #disrespectful
