The 2 stars for food is because there's not much variety on the menu , the 2 times I visited over the Christmas break the food quality was good. And Mark was great as usual.. but service and atmosphere was good too.Vegetarian options: Available. But not a big amount. We went as a family for New Year’s Eve and were surprised it wasn’t busier. It took an hour for our food to arrive and the taste was bland. We planned to use our Tesco clubcard vouchers but we’re told we couldn’t use them after 5pm. There was no restrictions on the Tesco site for using them. We probably would not return

Food was delicious but the best thing about this visit was Mark's service. He was absolutly fantastic, funny, entertaining and accomodating. Fantastic singing voice as well!!! Ahahahah well done Mark and well done Bella Italia.

Exceeded my expectations. The outside area is looking a bit '5 nights at Freddie's' with 2 closed restaurants nearby but the interior has been updated since I last went. Service was efficient and friendly. Food nice. Busy too for a Monday lunch. Good choice for a post cinema meal!

Had a lovely meal at Bella Italia Peterborough. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. Mark the waiter was friendly, attentive, enthusiastic and very amusing. I think he is a credit to Bella Italia and I wish there were more people like Mark in the world. We will be returning just to be served by him again. Keep shining Mark.

Honestly, went there as we needed cheering up as a family member had just died. Instead we got the latest Grime music being pumped out of the kitchen so loud you couldn't hear the restaurant music. Inattentive staff and the venue was only about 20% full. Food wasn't fully cooked but we didn't have the energy to complain after out bad news. Should have just gone to KFC / McDonald's, better quality food / service at the fast food there.

We were greeted and served by Mark who is so bubbly and welcoming. Its the second time we have been served by him and he makes time for everyone all his customers have smiles on their faces when he is serving them. Food was great as usual and delivered swift and well presented.
All these years and never been to Bella-Italia, anywhere. And I must say I would definitely go back. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. For starters we had the Nach-iolis (Large), which at first the thought of deep fried pasta seemed a bit bizarre but actually tasted incredible and I highly recommend trying. Then the Chicken Milanese with sweet potato fries which I couldn't fault. Then on to dessert. We shared a Chocolate S'mores Pizza. I'm not a big fan of hazelnut chocolate but it wasn't too bad. Then we over indulged on a second dessert of chocolate brownie and the cookie dough both warm and very moist. (My daughter dared me to put the word 'moist' into the review) I think once is enough ?.

Great staff, great food, good value.Having visited this particular Bella Italia many times, the staff are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There's a good selection of pizza and pasta dishes here and a nice selection of drinks too. There is ample parking directly outside, and if you live nearby, there is also good access via the footpaths and underpass if you prefer.

Visiting Hamerton Zoo we ate at the hotel on the first night and chose Bella for our second. Had our usual carbonara with sides and as always we’re not disappointed. Lady who served us was lovely and service was quick and efficient. Clean spacious restaurant with lots of free parking right outside.
