We love visiting F&B’s at Boongate. Always a warm welcome, a smile, great food and the drinks prompt after a tough day. Anthony and team always ensure our visit is 5 star. Great dinner out for Mother’s Day! We ordered full rack of ribs (really yummy), Margherita pizza - cooked to perfection and I had beef lasagne with a side salad and fries. The beef lasagna was amazing and a really big portion! Really good desserts too - a cheesecake, the chocolate fudge brownies and I had my favourite apple crumble and custard. We were stuffed! This Frankie & Benny’s is always great, has very attentive staff who want you to have great service and really yummy food! We do think we preferred the large menu choices before ' known but understand why the menus have been reduced. Prices have gone up too but no different to everywhere I guess. Compared to Wildwood, where we went tonight, F&B’s is 100% way nicer! Really good vegan menu too!

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you have vouchers/ money off coupons. The prices did not match what came out on the plates. I ordered a “new York GIANT” pizza. With it being more expensive than all the others I was definitely thinking it was a giant pizza but as a matter of fact it was the same size as all the other pizzas on the menu. Don’t be fooled like I was. I ordered garlic bread for my daughter that was served with a burnt bottom. I ordered her a waffle for her dessert which was served to her cold like it was a pre-pack job. I wouldn’t rush back if I’m honest.

I went for a meal here with family, and there was nothing wrong with the food, except the price. The price has risen dramatically over the years for what is the same standard of prepackaged food, heated up in the oven / microwave. It tasted absolutely fine though, and my cocktail was lovely.The atmosphere was relaxed which I appreciate, but the service was very slow despite the restaurant not being very busy. It was half term so I'd have expected more staff to be available. The servers were very friendly and I can't fault the way they behaved, it was just slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes just for drinks.

Always polite and professional service by Joanne .I like going there for dinner with my son. They have nice choice of meals and good offers. Joanne always gives me good recommendation for salads, if i dont know what to have, my son likes their pizza. No matter how busy restaurant is , Joanne always gives us positive experience.Kid-friendliness: Size of their kids meals is perfect for kids.

My husband and I came to the boongate restaurant this evening to have a meal. We come to this venue quite a lot holding client meetings and have never been disappointed.However this evening we were very let down, not from the service at the table. Because the lady servicing us was absolutely amazing but the food was awful. The starters were nice but the mains, New York bbq chicken - cold fries, dry chicken, and ribs it was horrible.I have given this 3 star just purely for the waitress, she was very upset that we had such a bad experience and couldn’t say sorry enough.I really hope that this improves or we will have to start thinking about looking at alternative venues to hold our company meetings

Nice food. Place was really clean. Staff were great and helpful. Was nice and quiet when we went in too which was a bonus. Not eaten in here before and will definitely think about going again if in area.

Really enjoyable experience with super service. Very attentive. Food was hot, tasty and very filling. Had an offer with 3 network 2 adult meals for £10. Got a 3 course meal for my little one. She wasn't keen on the mac and cheese so they exchanged it for her. No fuss and no squabbles. Ordered way too much fold with all my sides and milkshake. But still squashed in a dessert. Didn't mention it was my daughters birthday but staff noticed she was wearing a badge and brought the dessert over with a candle and played the happy birthday song.

Food was pretty good, service was friendly and quick, but it was cold, heating wasn't working. I suspect it was turned off to save a few quid. Staff were very apologetic.

Always not too bad an experience here for Vegans - until recently. The menu has been updated, seems a lot watered down in both the options (used to be quite a few) and what's on the plate (smaller) yet the prices up! Used to love the vegan burger and trimmings but at over £14 for what certainly feels a lot less, can't say I'll be back unless this changes. Shame.

Went there tonight with my partner! Needed some space away from the other customers and Chloe was wonderful and sat us a few tables down, no problem. She was very friendly and nice, and had a happy attitude that made us feel welcomed. Thank you Chloe!

Staff very friendly and helpfulMy meal was tasty and well presented but perhaps not as much food I expected for 15£J mentioned that his lasagne wasn't warm enough for him and he wanted more onion rings for the price he paidR had her pasta bolognaise with not enough meat so the plate went bck and they added meat but the portion of meat still wasn't greatK and V enjoyed their meals and there was no comments lolit was fairly busy we were in sitting around 6:30men toilet was clean and it was 6:45pmladies toilet wasn't great according to R there was toilet paper on floor and waterThank you
