The empties tell their own story! The food was delicious and so filling.I ordered the ultimate mixed grill, substituting the black pudding slices with eggs. This order which had a little of everything but was a very large portion.In my opinion, the steak was a little dry and over cooked for a medium well steak. The salad bar was quite bare with limited options.Points to note: the ultimate mixed grill can be shared; the cocktails are quite light and watery.

Went here for Christmas Day dinner. Nice smiley welcome upon arrival. We were show to our table which was set and ready for us. The food and service were excellent. Thank you to all the staff for giving up your Christmas day so that I did not have to cook on mine!

We had a great time. Our server Geraldine was outstanding. She went out of her way to be accommodating and was fast and efficient if anything was wrong!!! Excellent service!!!!

Excellent service from Geraldine, attentive and efficient even though restaurant was very busy. I was in a party of 10 people all who had very reasonable meals at a reasonable price.Parking: Plenty of room.

Disgraceful service - place was freezing cold everyone wearing coats - should not have opened if heating wasn’t working. - poor quality food. Forgot children’s meals - when they did arrive were inedible. Adult meals missing parts of the order and cold. Salad bar poor and rolls stale. Asked if we wanted coffees during the main course, wot about sweets? Just wanted to close. Salad bar closed and refills drinks just after we arrived. If you didn’t want the booking why did you accept it? Was only 5:15pm. Manager would not engage - knew how bad it was - just sent over the young waiters who did their best to resolve.

Shocking place. Do not visit. Booked meal for 10. All meals cold. Restaurant freezing we all sat with coats on including 2 children and an elderly relative. Child meal did not come out as they forgot it and other one did not look edible. Disgusting service by so called supervisor who said nothing when I complained 3 times. Would never visit again. The young guy waiting tables was so good. Don’t open if you not fit to serve edible food in a warm restaurant. 2 family members are now I’ll due to visit and I felt sick all night from rubbish food

What can I say apart from the meal was as good as the staff.We were greated with a smile taken to our table. Given time to look at the menu. And when the food came out WOW it was one of the best meals we had, had in a long time. A few weeks before we had gone to the beefeater and yeah will leave that one. Knowing just how good the food is. We won't be giving them our custom again.

A regular Harvester experience, you know what you're getting for a reasonable price. Staff were great and the food was served promptly and Was nice and hot. Was here for a works Christmas dinner event, so had a good time catching up with remote working colleagues.
Absolutely loved every minute ? food was amazing, atmosphere was lovely. Staff all friendly, Natalie was very helpful & friendly. So glad we decided to try the experience out for Xmas dinner, as loved every minute. Beautifully decorated throughout the Pub.

Family friendly restaurant but totally forget my 6 year old sons dinner and serves my 4 year old plant based so called meatballs which resembled something from im a celebrity’s bush tucker trial. We ordered normal meatballs. Absolutely freezing in the restaurant no heating pretty sure a/c was on. We were all wearing coats including my 85 nan and 4 year old asthmatic daughter. Shocking service from so called supervisors who didn’t even apologise or communicate with us just left all the work to the young boy who done a fab job and deserves the salary the management are getting! So disappointed and won’t be returning.

Absolutely dreadful. Visited on Boxing Day 5:15pm 2023 -party of ten. Shocking experience. Freezing cold - apparently heating was faulty blowing out freezing cold air. Would not move us away from the cold air vents. Forgot children’s meals. When they did send them out were not edible. Adult meals were cold and some were missing parts of the order. Everyone wearing their coats. Asked if we wanted coffee whilst eating main course. When we asked about sweats said they were closing and would have to ask the kitchen. This was 6:45. If they didn’t want the booking why did they take it? Salad bar closed shortly after we arrived which was poor at best and rolls were stale. Refill drinks shut. Most frustrating of all is that the shift manager would not engage what so ever - knew how bad things were - just sent over the young waiters that did their best. 85 year old mother was so cold she was ill. So we’re the grandchildren. Absolutely devastated and a disgrace on every level. This was supposed to be a lovely family get together after a hard year.

The service was amazing, our server was so kind, didn't catch her name but she did mention she was new but honestly you couldn't tell as she was so lovely, she made sure we had everything we needed and if she wasn't sure on something (which is understandable as she was new!) She double checked for us just to make sure. The food was lovely, fresh and cooked perfectly! Had a birthday cake for my dad as well which was lovely. Lovely atmosphere of the pub and nice food, amazing service so will definitely be back, thank you! The main reason I wanted to write this review was for our lovely server as even though she stated she was new, she did a fantastic job despite it being so busy, she took our order well, she was polite, kind and she checked we had everything to standard. She also sorted the QR code for us, so well done and thank you to her! ?
