I was part of a group of four who had an excellent meal at Mattoni this week.The food was cooked fresh for us and tasted delicious.The staff were friendly, made us feel welcome and were a pleasure to deal with. The waitress who served us gave advice on the menu and talked about the restaurant.There was a pleasant atmosphere.We plan to visit this restaurant again.

We had a family meal there and ordered steak and lasagne and a burger. It was delicious and we also had the 2 for 1 cocktail which didn't taste particularly alcoholic but was fine nonetheless. We were served by Reece who was attentive.

Amazing delicious food and presentation.Our server, Kirsty was incredibly and friendly and attentive throughout our meal.I am a vegetarian and ordered Penne Arrabbiata which very beautifully presented and delicious and a variety of choices.Lovely and friendly atmosphere would highly recommend it !

The atmosphere was amazing, we got shown to out table straight away and service was perfect the food came out quick and after we were done with the starters we got asked if we were ready for the mains which came out 5 minutes after that. Definitely will be coming back.

Visited twice recently for lunch and food was amazing on both occasions . Generous portions and made with care , a credit to the chef and staff were so attentive and professional.

I went to the restaurant with two of my friends. One of my friends was celebrating her 60th birthday. We arrived at the restaurant and seated, we waited over 25 mins and then had to ask a member of staff if we could please have some menus and order some drinks / cocktails. They brought the menus finally. Then we waited another 20mins and had to ask again to place our order. We ordered some cocktails ,bottle of wine oh and our food as we didn't want to wait any longer. The cocktails arrived one had a fly in it so had to be replaced , the wine arrived no glasses ,they were just coming oh no they weren't. The food then arrived.would you like black pepper or parmesan? Oh parmesan please we replied, so the parmesan was grated over our pasta and us !!! Then eventually our wine glasses arrived. As this was booked for a special occasion, the whole experience turned out to be an expensive disappointment ? so won't be returning.

Food was nice and at good value. However, whilst dining with my colleagues over some business work, we couldn’t help but overhear a couple hard working staff members who were very polite, mention how they were hungry and couldn’t eat until after their shift. (Which isn’t a problem at all) Some of these workers, were working all night and not once did I see them have a break or slack during their shift. Energy is extremely important to work in hospitality and as a business meeting, me and my colleagues were astounded to overhear these poor workers do not get to eat during long shifts. This ruined my dining, as although the food was lovely, staff need more appreciation, old and young. I appreciate the staff that made my dining experience enjoyable until I heard this, as they are extremely hard working, polite and visibly good at their job. Thank you to the staff, I hope you will be able to boost your energy with food on your shift and be able to take a break when needed in long shifts. It is a pleasure to see that they can have a drink, however they need food too.

Food good but check your bill as service charge is added and we were not made aware of this, yes we should have checked the bill before paying but we were there for a birthday celebration with everyone enjoying themselves and we have never been to a restaurant that has automatically added service charge although after checking the bill when we got home it says optional we were not given the choice. Had we been made aware when the bill was presented to us we would not have then left a tip. Left a sour taste in our mouths after a lovely evening,
