Booked for 20 people for my mums wake.. upon arrival no one was around to greet us. The communication between staff was poor meaning when I lowered numbers from 30 to 20 no one got the memo. The food was over cooked and sandwiches were dry.

After being served a prawn cocktail without seafood sauce. Coffee only warm not hot. Tacos supposedly with chilli only chilli missing. The dishes our dessert served in not washed and rinsed properly, we highly recommend a new chef being employed before we think of a return visit. I'm sorry I have to put this, as normally we have a lovely meal here.

Service reached 3 stars because our server (Dean) was genuinely helpful and took our orders when asked quickly and efficiently. They also appeared to be the only one actually working as I didn’t see another member of staff on the floor other than behind the bar.However on the previous occasion and this occasion the food wasn’t great. Including incorrect meals coming out of the kitchen.We had to request cleaner and wipes to clean our own tables as they were stickier than a pre schoolers hands after an ice creamHowever on this occasion we were approached once for drinks order with no follow up! Waited over an hour and a half for our food to be delivered to the table. This is only because I called a member of staff over and asked how long, such a coincidence it then arrived at this time. However not such a coincidence because the food come out cold, so must of been ready a while.The standards of the food did not come out as expected with Yorkshire Puddings tasting stale. You could tell it had been sat under a heat lamp for a whileAt no point did anyone let us know food was an hour wait, not once did anyone ask if we would like any more drinks, nor did anyone come back and ask if the food was okay.On two out of two occasions the Paul Pry has been let down by its staff, there is no organisation, staff are running around aimlessly dean on this occasion and a few others on previous occasion.The staff on both occasion do not seem to be trained to a high enough standard you would expect and sometimes cannot answer basics.On the previous occasion there was a power cut, so we ate under torch light and we were still expected to pay full price, and when told we only had Apple Pay and card we were ordered to go find a cash machine. Even a small discount for sitting under our own lighting would have been great. One of the group were late to work because of this, as we had to wait for a manager to arrive from Hampton as no one had a clue what to do!

The breakfast was well stocked with pastries, bread, cereals and the like, with fresh juice or tea and coffee.The full English was tasty and well cooked.The dinners were also very tasty and the menu had something for everyone.The starters were tasty and just the right size. Highlights included the breaded mushrooms and the garlic bread. But the spicy wings were out of this world.I would highly recommend the mixed grill, the smothered grill or any of the burgers. Our steaks were cooked exactly to our liking.Not usually a desserts person I have to say that the triple chocolate brownie and the sundaes were perfect.The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and made sure that our visits went without any problems. Nothing was too much trouble for them.There was also a wide range of beverages on offer.I can't wait to visit again.Kid-friendliness: Highchairs are available and are sturdy and clean.Wheelchair accessibility: A ramped entrance allows for wheelchair access directly from the car park.
Popped in on Tuesday 27th February for lunch. Quite busy and not many staff. However no issues. The staff working were excellent. No long wait for service or food which again was lovely. A special mention to Amanda and the chef. Sorry didn't get his name.. They were a great team.Dietary restrictions: Helpful menu for those with allergies
