Went for dinner one day over the weekend the pub was very busy yet we got our food within 25 minutes I had the ribs and the wife had the jerk skewers both were absolutely amazing one of the kids is also very fussy and the staff got him exactly what he wanted. we was also greeted by very welcoming staff and had a lovely time as ever thank you

Am sure this has changed hands, service was appalling, had to wait half an hour despite being quiet. Meal delivered to table was not as stated. My roast beef was smothered in pepper and should have been sliced, husband mixed grill didn't have extra egg. Was put in a corner, that was ok until the sound was put on TV above our head, thus needed a quick getaway, which staff didn't acknowledge even though there was many staff, serious staff but polite. Shame as the experience here on other occasions has been so good.

We visit regularly to the Haywain and find the attention given to us by the staff is always polite and friendly. As we come out of lockdown restrictions, the staff are still meticulously keeping high standards of hygiene throughout the pub. Food and drinks are all very reasonable priced with a large selection of both. For those who enjoy watching sports there are numerous screens located throughout the pub that can show various sports at the same time.

Nice and tidy place, nearby free parking. Fairly quick service. Outdoor seating which doubles as a smoking area, partially covered, with a TV. It has a couple of water dishes for dogs so I guess it must be dog friendly in the outdoor space at least. Food was OK but no specials just the regular Sizzling Pubs menu. The app was a bit of a struggle on recent visit as the layout doesn't seem to be the best for a reasonable sized phone? Quite a number of items were marked as unavailable but it quite quiet and service was quick.

Lovely and festive, little disappointed in the sharing platter mushrooms a bit over fried but okay apart from that. It's seems a regulars pop in so friendly for that aspect.

I've been to the Haywain over many years and on numerous occasions. I used to live in St.ives and often visit family nearby. The is by far the best incarnation I have experienced of this modern pub. The beer was very good, well priced and with a good selection. The staff were knowledgeable and engaging. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that the music was so loud in all sections of the pub. It was difficult to hold a conversation amongst us three old blokes. I'm told the food is pretty good too although didn't partake on this visit.
