Always wanted to eat here as heard how good it was. And it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space and tables. Didnt have to wait for a table and despite lack of staff was served very quickly and efficiently. Ordered from the lighter lunch menu and still got a good sized plate. Desserts were excellent. And the price very reasonable. Definitely go again.

Came in for some lunch on my break from work, super fast service and the food was absolutely spot on, seriously good!
I had the beef burger, and it did not let me down! Moist, well seasoned and cooked just right. The burger look exactly like the photo on the menu.
The staff are polite and welcome. Hats off to the chef!

Nice to see a change of management and that the original manager is back, there is a very noticeable improvement in standards already. As with a lot of hospitality venues they are short staffed, so you need to be a little patient. The steaks we had were cooked perfectly though, they weren't fatty and both the meal and plates were hot.

Been several years since I last visited, recently under new management I understood. Settled in with a lovely pint to watch the football with a pizza. Staff were lovely and attentive and the pizza was very good. Would recommend if your a local or passing through.

Food tasted lovely, fresh and full of flavour. Very generous portions and reasonably priced. Over all a very pleasant lunch and equally a pleasant visit to the Marsh Harrier. Last time I lunched here was 6 years ago, this place didn't disappoint my expectations. X

Decent place to come with our boys yesterday lunchtime. Clean and tidy everywhere, they especially loved the play area- nice touch. The food was good, and empty plates all round. Will return definitely.

On eating what was supposed to be a main and starter a child would still be hungry let alone men. The wait was awful even for a drink, no staff available so will give it a miss in the future.

Friendly waitstaff. However, ordered our drinks and starter, when drinks were delivered we tried to order burgers , only to be told they were out of beef patties! Really? Burgers are advertised on tables. Ordered chicken burgers instead. Nachos arrived and they were cold. When asked if they were ok, we did inform the waitstaff , and she took them away. Chicken burgers not that great either.
Won’t be returning! This was our second try and we should have learnt from the first.

I have not been there for a very long time, but today was the best and the food was lovely jubbley too. What can I say about Beth? She is in my good books and I can't wait till I see her again The other staff were super,great,smashing. My final words to everyone that works there is enjoy the rest of your year and hopefully I will be back soon

We had a horrendous experience at the beginning of March when there was no official Manager in place and changes with the Staff but thought we'd give them another chance last night as we use this Pub regularly. Last night the service was impeccable. We explained about our previous experience and they couldn't have apologised more. There were lots more staff on duty, the food was so much better, we were able to sit in a quieter part of the Pub as our Son has special needs, we all had a very enjoyable experience

Bring back Alex all is forgiven. You can tell that it as change management. Went for a meal my meal came out with bits missing on it some of the meat was dry. Not sure if we will be back

That was the best burger i ever had! Big thanks for chef Jay! Food was really good! Verry fresh, beef was amazing! Definitely will go back! All atmosphere was nice, we were served by Pippa, and one more girl. Girls were lovely! Thank you so much! ❤

Food was lovely. Price was really good. The only down side I would say is that you was running out of quiet a lot of food. For example you run out of roast beef, Yorkshire puddings and vanilla ice cream.
