Came here with those I work with for lunch today. We pre-ordered food so that we had time to eat during our break and it was ready when we came. Nice food, perfect service and a great atmosphere. Big table for us all, also lovely outside.

I was in a very large group,we filled the dining area.Service and food were excellent. The Staff were very good even if they must have felt they were being run of their feet.!! The group will go there next year for sure.

The Vine at Buckden did an amazing job today hosting my late fathers wake. The food, all freshly made was delicious, Sue gave us a great choice and was so helpful throughout offering us opportunities to make it personal and a celebration of his life. The staff were so helpful and patient, catering for a very large group and ensuring everyone was well fed, comfortable and welcome.Thank you to The Vine, x

Food was ok but it was easily the coldest pub I’ve ever been in … never eat a meal inside with my coat on before (and I wasn’t alone) so that was a first … no music playing or anything .. asked about being so cold and was told ‘yeh surprised the fire isn’t on ‘ .. then strolled off .

We visited for Sunday lunch and it was fantastic. Roast dinner was brilliant, wouldn’t be able to find any fault in it. Good portion size, lovely meat and potatos and generous with the veg!Lovely service too, this is our local so will definitely be returning.

Had an awful meal here unfortunately and won't be returning. Took my other half here for a birthday meal with the kids. Lots of confusion about what was and wasn't available and what time food orders were taken until. Ordered roasts which took ages to come - you don't mind when food is freshly cooked. The gravy was very badly burnt and ruined the whole dish. We complained, but there was no roast left and had to order something else. Again a very long wait with a table of hungry people. We put our specifications in for our burgers - got those wrong too, but didn't complain as we couldn't face another half hour wait. When pudding finally arrived they were out of ice cream too. I made sure to order dessert while we were waiting for mains due to wait times.Food orders are only taken until 5.30 so by the time our food was there at 7pm we were in the pub with people only drinking, and it was no longer the family atmosphere lots of swearing etc, which I'm guessing we would usually have missed earlier in the day. When it came time for the bill, although there had been apologies for the poor food and the roasts had been taken off, there was no further discount, offer, free drink, come back next time, anything to make up for the experience. They were aware it was my other half's birthday. It left a bad taste in my mouth due to poor customer service and sadly ruined what was meant to be a lovely birthday meal out as a family. We won't be returning.Kid-friendliness: After food orders stop no longer family atmosphere. No baby-change facilities.

We went for lunch and a starter was a good size for a lunch portion. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming and the beer good.I can't fault them in anyway and highly recomed.

Called in for lunch, not really sure what to expect. The room felt a bit chilly but we soon warmed up when our food arrived. Good sized portions of top quality food. On this experience I would definitely recommend.

What a great little find, the roast dinners were superb. We met friends there and we we both travelled 45 mins... it was worth the journey!!!

Really good pub. The food is very good, just the pub classics but really well done. We had a steak pie swimming in gravy and very well made, and burguers that were gorgeous. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. The food came relatively quickly. The price is very reasonable. Will come again.
