Good space for family and very friendly service. However, the food is very mixed. Fabulous steak and ribs. Good quality. Burgers are alright. One burger was not served with correct ingredients so we asked for it to be corrected. Burger came back over 5 minutes later (same reheated patty which had original bites from it) and hard reheated fries. Ended up getting the missing ingredients but it was almost like that had run out and we got the last tiny amount left. Was just unusual, especially for the price.

Best Sunday roast I have had from a carvery. Pity main menu is not available on a Sunday. Small charge to visit Zoo area but really worth it ?Parking: Can get busy and a bit muddy currently.

Just had a meal in there and it was AMAZING! It's definitely my new favourite local restaurant!Had the Rib Eye, was cooked exactly how I asked and was melting in mouth and the chips were spot on!and to top it all up, the 3 members of FOH that we met were incredibly nice!Well done guys!

A big thank you to the team at Johnsons that looked after us on Saturday evening. The food was superb, the service was excellent and we were looked after from start to finish. A couple of very late additions to our overall numbers caused one or two slight delays to the meals but to their absolute credit the team worked hard to ensure we had a good evening. All twelve of us that attended were very pleased with the food, location and atmosphere, and Johnson's will be on our 'must visit again' list very soon.

We have been here a fair few times now and it’s always brilliant. The steakhouse is quality food for a very reasonable price and staff are so so friendly, Elisha is always so welcoming. This goes across the board, as the farm shop staff and tea room staff are always also so chatty and friendly! We’re very lucky to have this on our doorstep.

A group of 25 for a birthday. Had a Sunday carvery. At 35 pounds for a three course carvery you expect it to be perfect, it was very good but served on stone cold plates, the meat was cold by the time you had the vegetables and anything touching the plate was cold by the time you got back to the table. Staff were good.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I had the bbq chicken and chunky chips which was nice ,the only exception were the chips which are really chunky. I prefer mine less chunky but fries thin.

Second time visiting here, again for a birthday celebration. Attended as a party of 6. Food was really good and had very quick service. It was a great visit again and had just as good food and service as the first. Highly recommend!

Just returned from a great afternoon family event. All 13 in our party praised the food, the venue is amazing and the staff were very attentive to our needs. Special praise to Aliesha who was amazing catering our increase in numbers and looked after us superbly all afternoon. Thankyou ?

Family of 3 had afternoon tea in the Steakhouse. Absolutely wonderful experience. There was enough food for 5 people! Freshly made sandwiches, fruit and plain scones with cream and jam, individual trifles, mini meringue nests, carrot cake, victoria sponge cake and florentines. Prosecco as well as unlimited tea and coffee. The staff were brilliant and kept checking to see if we were ok, and offered more drinks and sandwiches! We had to bring the cakes home!
