Visiting your store for the 2nd time since moving (first time I slipped and fell almost headfirst through the fridge doors) due to a wet patch in the floor . This time on leaving the store the automatic barrier gates opened the wrong way hitting me in the lower stomach where I unfortunately have a stoma. I felt instantly faint and had to sit in the car while I recovered enough to drive home. The gate blasted open too not a gentle swoosh . I now have extreme pain in the area and am bruised . I phoned the store to complain and while the gentlemen was polite apparently there is nothing he can do!!! If the pain doesn’t ease soon I shall have to go to a and e and head office will be hearing from me

Tried to call multiple times, for about an hour and no answer. However when I've had to phone others supermarkets in the past I actually get to speak to someone thats in store over the phone.

The employees sitting at the cash register are not even able to scan the goods, they are only able to talk very well, but not to work.

It's literally give them money and you might get a couple items you ordered but the rest are missing or they have substituted your chicken breast for tomato sauce

Good store for groceries. Now many Asian/Indian groceries are available like Basmati Rice, Ghee, snacks, Indian Maggi.

My partner had the dissatisfaction of visiting the cafe here, with his dad who was over 60.He ordered the over 60’s soup deal and was given a tough time when he didn’t present an OAP card despite explaining that he has a drivers license proving his dads age.A lady behind then came over despite not understanding the situation and said that he couldn’t have the deal as he clearly wasn’t over 60, to which he said that it wasn’t for him and that they had misunderstood. Then had to go over the whole situation again and eventually agreed to the deal.A totally unnecessary and stressful scenario

Had my online shopping delivered yesterday. 13 items were missing, but I had 8 items from someone else’s shopping. I called the store and was told the missing items would be sent to me that day. It’s now Saturday morning and I’m still waiting. Customer service is disgusting ! You have to go through a call centre in India to ask them to put you through to the store. It’s so infuriating! I WANT MY SHOPPING !!!!

The scan as you go has frozen 3 times on us now just as it gets the payment stage and the only thing they can do is take everything out of the bags and put it all through one of the tills. We’ve also noticed a lot of items have been out of date for sale too and alot of empty / sparse shelves whenever we go so sometimes don’t get the item we came in for.

Visited today 6/10/23 at approximately 17.15.Having had many previous issues regarding sell by dates in this store, we check every item.Today, my wife picked up a jar of Asda brand cranberry sauce with port and was shocked to see that the Best Before Date was June 2023.She picked up another from a different tray, and it was worse, March 2023, followed by January 2023. It appeared that several trays of this sauce were out of date, and some of them had popped on the lid, meaning that deterioration had already started.I fetched over a staff member, a very nice lady who apologised and checked through the stock. She carried the trays off the shelf and came back for more.As she did so, a large untidy man came towards us down the aisle. The staff member quietly said that this is the manager. My wife spoke to him and said that we had found all these out of date items still on the shelf. The man towered over my wife, and she felt his attitude was bullish and arrogant. His response was, "And?"He shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I called him back and told him that I did not like his attitude towards his customers. His response was that they are only best before dates, and it won't kill you! They never used to even put dates on these things.Bearing in mind, of cou8wrse, that some jars had popped lids and probably may kill customers if they were to eat them! I asked for his name, and he replied John Hill, and I'm the manager. It's on all the receipts if you can't remember. The staff member apologised for her managers behaviour and started loading the out of date stock into a trolley. In total, there were 13 trays of different sauces that were out of date. The staff member was writing OOD on all of the lids that I took to mean out of dateWe are both professional people who are respected in the community that we live in.We would never speak to our customers in this manner. The behaviour of this store manager falls well below our expectations as customers, and he should hang his head in shame.I think a course in customer relations is well overdue.

Very bad experience with ASDA Kitchen… ordered sandwich meal deal. They burnt my sandwich and when I told them that it was too hard. The lady frustrated and gave me another sandwich and said,” don’t come to me if you found this sandwich cold. I am not responsible.” Rude people. Wrong approach with customer. Very disappointed.

Went to this store to buy cigarettes on 14th Aug 2023 and the cashier would not serve me. I am 52 years old and she mistakenly used the think 25 because I was asking my friend who was not at the kiosk but over in another aisle. I asked for the Manager called Mark who was extremely rude and unprofessional. After I explained and told him to check the cctv to prove in fact I was buying the cigarettes for myself and not my friend who was 22 years old anyway he reversed the decision. But honestly the staff there needs a refresher course in Think 25. From an ex Retail manager myself I was not happy with this service.
