I was visiting on a work trip and arrived later due to flight delays. 1st the reception is in the pub so a bit confusing to identify. I was pushed to order food if I wanted as the kitchen would be closing at 8:30 when it was posted as 9. Then I was informed that what my company had understood to have breakfast included that it was not and I would need to order & pay before to ensure I got breakfast. I inquired if it was not available to order in the morning and the lady said no, it would be brought to my room. After an hour of driving from a delayed flight and long day travelling, I wasn't prepared for this.The room was too warm. A towel warmer that could not be turned off was probably the cause.Mold in the shower, bed very low to the ground and a clock that ticked so loud it was difficult to sleep. The artificial orchid even looked sickly!The walls in my room had lots of scuff marks and scrapes in the paint. The sink in the toilet was tiny. The shower controls were very difficult to adjust and it was set on full hot so took a bit of difficulty to adjust.It was not an ideal stay from start to finish. I have let our travel booking to delete this option for my monthly business trip as its just too many items on the negative side.

Wonderful Sunday lunch ! Wisbech was half way for our friends so we randomly picked this gem of a pub! From the lovely smiley young ladies behind the bar , to lovely decor & delicious food it was awesome! Defo recommended. 4 of us all thoroughly enjoyed our roast dinners & puddings !

Excellent service, excellent food, even catered for those in our party who had dietary requirements! Well done guys! Even though it had that great pub feel we thought it was a little bit expensive. But apart from that we will revisit. ???
