Comfortable clean, no Idea about prices someone else bought my drink. It's alright.

We reserved a table for lunch for 3 adults and a dog on Mother’s Day. We had starters and mains and found all our food to be delicious and plentiful.Being a vegetarian I was happy there were appetising vegetarian/vegan options and I found it difficult to choose one.We highly recommend the flatbread with spicy falafel, the flatbread with chargrilled steak and the Cumberland sausage.

We ended up in a bit of a situation and called this place asking for help. They were so accommodating! Really friendly staff, food was really really nice.Vegetarian options: Lots of different vegetarian and vegan options! I had the cheese and onion pie which was homemade and really tasty, I was told about the “not chicken and mushroom” pie which sounded nice and there were loads more options to choose from. Would recommend for vegetarians and vegans if you’re bored of the standard options we normally get ?Dietary restrictions: A person in our group is gluten free and there was a whole other menu showing everything that she could have (which was a lot!) she was spoilt for choice, it was really good

Fantastic pub with great food, lots of parking, and the friendliest staff. My friend and I headed here at the last minute after seeing it as top recommendation in Apple Maps (we came from out of town). We weren’t disappointed. It’s nice inside and the fish and chips were excellent. They’re fine with dogs, just make sure you ask where the dog area is!I stupidly left my iPad on the seat and didn’t realise till I got back to Newcastle. Thankfully, the staff were kind enough to post it back to me. Big thanks and would come again!

A lovely random stop today. After a walk in the village stopped at the pub for a drink and stopped for some food. Service was brilliant. Food was good. Great Gkuten free options ?

Booked in advance for a New Years Eve meal and given a booking for 7.30pm. On arrival was shown to the reserved table and told that they had stopped serving the meal at 7.00pm. But, they could offer us cheesy chips and a bowl of Tacco crisps. We had booked for a proper meal, the booking was originally done in person and taken by the manager. The staff seemed to not care about the situation or the booking made, just repeated that they had stopped serving meals.

Had our Christmas day meal here and it was very good. Will definitely book for next year.
