First visit and really impressed. Service was great, from all the team, but especially Holly. Food was hot and served quickly. Chefs were doing an amazing job making lots of dine-in and takeouts in a tiny space.

Terrible experience. I wanted some light lunch after half way through a 16 mile walk.Firstly, one of the staff looked like she had popped in half way through gym sessions, sporting trainess and other attire which did not suit an Italian restaurant.I ordered mixed olives and buffalo pomodoro. The black olives did not taste right. I informed the trainnee clad waitress who began to give me a lecture on the different kinds of olives, failing to listen to the fact I had told her they did not 'TASTE' right.She changed the order to solely green olives.Moving onto the main meal; the buggalo pomodoro was average at best.Next, when the bill came they had automatically added a £1.85 'service charge'. I requested this be removed but as I'd already paid this had to be done as a refund. So I assume this will take a number of days to show on the account.Lastly, and most concerning of all, was that a couple of hours after the meal, I had some stomach problems etc.Suffice to say, I will not be going back and I'm amazed this place as an average of a 4 star rating!!

Gluten free, ordered to go. Ordered gluten and dairy free meals and upon realising 2of the ingredients were also allergens for my family. Made complete meals for both family members. Delicious and reasonably priced will visit again when we're next in Chester.

Unbelievably rude service from both the waitress and the “manager”.We asked for a table that was in a little more of a quiet area as it was dead and we didn’t fancy a tiny table for 2 being squeezed in like sardines… we then asked if they did student discount which was met with a rude “No” even though they do through taste card.No bother though… so we sat down. I walked off to the toilet and the waitress that served us was walking in front of me and proceeded to describe us as “rude” and was completely out of order. Obviously she didn’t know I was in ear shot so I told her we would take our business elsewhere. We then wanted to mention this to the manager. This lady could not have been less interested and did nothing but make us feel even happier that we had not parted with any money at their establishment.Avoid. This place is run and staffed so very poorly.

Loved bolognese pizza, an absolute winner. The semifreddo was very hard, and tasted OK. Would stick to the savoury dishes. Great service. Good location to eat and watch the world go by.

Can't fault it. Excellent food. We had the prawns (lots of them and very tasty), the polo funghi pasta (the best we have had at a Bella), followed by the Brownie (just perfect!).

Both waitresses ( Holly and Keira ) were very helpful and service was perfect, there were regular checks between courses and food was brought out quick. Turned up just before the kitchen was closing as we hadn’t realise the time however they were more than happy to serve us and give us the best experience ( even on Sunday at the end of their shift) DEFINITELY recommend 10/10
