“First visit to the new location. Lovely setting with very nice furnishings , much more space than previously. Proper bar and waiting area allows you to have a drink before your meal. Food and the drinks were excellent as always.”

“We had dinner here two nights in a row on a short break to Chester. The meal and service was so good the first night we knew we would get the same the next night. Little dark to read the menu for my tiring eyesight but managed, perhaps next print run make the text a bit larger and easier to see? Wouldn't stop us being top of our list next time we visit Chester, well done all dedicated staff keep it up!”

“Very busy and noisy. Inital service was quite quick food was delicious. Service after main course was poor. We waited a long time 30 minutes+ for someone to clear the table and we weren't offered a sweet - just asked if we wanted the bill! We waited 20 minutes and still no bill. We had to ask someone else for the bill as we had to be out to get our seats at a concert.”
