This is a fantastic interactive family experience with beautiful animal's in a well kept clean and loving environment. With a very simple and adhering approach to keeping young children happy and educated in animal care. The facilities i.e the cafe/restaurant is very very good food , drink and service is excellent. I don't want to big the place up to much as it would be spoilt if it got too popular please remember it is a lovely little childrens attraction which aduts will also love. It is intimate not chester zoo. So I would recommend phoning to make a booking staff are great and do all they can to make you welcome. I love the place hope this helps xxx

I would just like to thank the people at haycraft for today. We turned up with our grandchildren this morning not realising it was closed between Xmas and the new year. The owners were brilliant, although closed they let us take the children in for a look around and feed the animals,and did this free of charge. Thank you very much ,it made our grandchildren day,will return soon .

We had our daughters 2nd birthday here and it was absolutely fantastic. All the kids enjoyed themselves and the staff were super friendly and really helpful. Nothing was too much. Food was lovely and they even cut the cake up and wrapped it for me so I could carry on enjoying the party.Riley was delightful and introduced herself at the start of the party and kept coming back to check we were ok and that we had everything we needed or if we needed any help with anything. She gave me a run down on the itinerary for the party and even went to grab some pictures of my daughter for me (I asked her to do this) when I couldn’t do it cause I was feeding my baby. She was a massive help to me and my family. I would definitely recommend hayrack farm to all of my friends and family. Oh and we also got a free entry for all of the party guests which I thought was a lovely gesture. Thanks again for a lovely day.

My 7 year old daughter did the 'Mini Keeper for the Day' experience yesterday and had the most amazing time! Molly and Jack went above any beyond for us, making sure that my daughter could spend time with every animal for as long as she wanted. She was able to feed all of the animals, have lots of cuddles with them and even take the Alpacas for a walk! All the other staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was also delicious. Would highly recommend booking this for a animal loving child, it's incredible value for what is included, we are already planning to do it again ?

We've been coming here regularly for the past 6 years, and we always enjoy our visits. The staff are really friendly, prices are extremely reasonable and the food is excellent. The farm shop next door is worth a visit to pick up something for tea too! This weekend we had booked the mini keeper experience for our daughter's birthday, and it was great, she absolutely loved it! All in all, I'd definitely recommend, especially if you have younger children.

Fantastic place to visit, the staff are so kind and helpful, food & coffee - amazing. The park has so many different varieties of animals and birds which you can meet and greet. There was a group of children bottle feeding lambs which was a joy to watch. The alpacas & donkeys we're friendly and I had a long conversation with a huge owl :D There was an indoor soft play area and a large crafts room which the children were all enjoying. The cafe is spacious with lots to offer and there's a nice decked outdoor seating area with many picnic tables. A super place to take your little ones. This business does a lot of outreach work for the community which is little known but a real credit to them and those they help. Really pleased to help support this business, even if in just a small way.

We came to Hayrack Farm around midday to feed the lambs, unfortunately we were too late to catch the 1pm feeding but we’re lucky enough to get two spots at the 4pm feed! All the staff were lovely from the lady who let us in, to the cafe staff and even the staff who were looking after the animals. You can tell everyone takes pride in their jobs and really looks after the animals well. Much enjoyed day out and there was LOTS of activities to do while we waited for the 4pm feed! Successful family day out ?

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and had high hopes. However, it is much smaller than it seems and although we were expecting a full day out, we were only there for 2 hours and that included eating lunch in the cafe. We spent about £50 on entry, animal feed and our lunch (2 adults and 1 child) which seemed very steep but I know looking after animals isn't cheap. I wouldn't mind the cost if there was actually more to do and see there! Okay for a one off, but wouldn't go again.

We've visited the past two years for the Santa grotto and it's been absolutely wonderful both times!It's really good value for money, the kids get loads of activities and a bag of goodies from Santa. Santa was amazing, he was so friendly and you get lots of time with him.The staff and service are top notch, very friendly and helpful. The farm is lovely and the animals are really cute. Will be returning next Christmas!
