This is an amazing place, the food is fabulous. Special mentions for Manager Courtney who is exemplary in her customer service, a credit to this restaurant. Ben who is an excellent waiter looked after us so well all night. Many thanks we will see you again in 2024.

It is saddening for me to write this but I have come home really disappointed in my experience at your restaurant today We arrived at 1:45 and the doorman was lovely and ran to get the wheelchair ramp for my mother in law We were so impressed and thought wow how attentive are the staff here That is were it ended We were sat at our table and our coats taken which was nice then we waited 20 minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink, we ordered then waited and waited for our food order to be taken We asked two waitresses to take our request and then a third arrived an we ordered Another 30 minutes later our food arrived ( it was lovely) the waitress put our side of carrots down and said she would be back with utensils She didn’t come back We ate our food nobody came to check if everything was ok until we had nearly finished when we said our chips we ordered hadn’t arrived We had finished our food when they did not return for a long time. we then waited unacknowldge for the desert menu When we did order we ordered two coffees as well as desert but they did not arrive either (we even were given a soup spoon rather than a desert spoon), we cancelled them and got the bill Then they arrived cold!!!!! I just was thoroughly upset at the services we got and paid £170 as Christmas special gifts for our mothers and did not feel special at all In fact we felt like we were more of a nuisance. Grovesnor you proper let us down

Had Sunday Champagne menu £45 per head for 3 courses. Chicken terrine starter contained sharp bone fragments. When reported to kitchen, no response. Don’t care about money off (we left gratuity when settling bill as waiting staff were lovely) but any kind of response, better still an apology would be minimum requirement from a well run kitchen. For main, one of us ordered cod and it wasn’t a complete meal, reasonable piece of cod but barely anything else with it. Champagne menu as it turns out is £45 per head plus the extra that’s needed to complete your meal. Again money is not the issue here, being mis-sold is. Need to up your game folks and treat the customer with respect.

The Brasserie in the Grosvenor hotel is an excellent choice for a meal in an upmarket restaurant at a reasonable price. The tables are well spaced out and, very importantly, you are able to enjoy your meal in a quiet dining room, rather than the usual cacophony of sound you get in most restaurants today. There is a good selection of dishes and excellent attentive service . The quality of the food is good, as you would expect from a hotel with a Michelin star restaurant in the Arkle

Private Diner

I was in the city with my son, who very kindly offered to treat me to dinner. Neither of us had dined here for some years, so decided to give it a go . We waited until after 5.00pm as the " casual dining " menu looked uninspiring, but the a la carte promised more. Without going into tedious detail , the surroundings, staff ,food and wine were wonderful. We shall be back .

Superb food and top tier chef. Faultless meal. 10/10. Would high recommend and would definitely return for the champagne Sunday menu. I opted for the pork belly which was served to perfection with a side of vegetables and roast potatoes. Waiters were very accommodating to my gluten intolerance.

Booked a table for our anniversary and birthday celebration, shown to our table ordered our first course which we chose soup ,very nice and tasty was told it was a new recipe the only thing was it stated came with crusty bread, but did not receive any. Next main course husband had steak which he said was the best steak he's ever had but it again state comes with vine tomatoes, but he didn't get those either, sweet l opt for the chic tart it was that hard nearly broke the plate trying to get the fork through it , milk Ice cream no taste at all . To go with meal had bottle of wine cost £37 (one of the cheapest ones) looked it up and the exact wine in shops is £11.50 l know you pay more at restaurants but that was more than 3 times more not only that payed £1 for waiter to open and pore it , husband went to pour us another glass and waitress rushed to pour it for us another £1 according to bill then 12 1/2 % tip , l know l should of complained but as it was a special occasion didn't want to make a fuss , very expensive meal , don't mind the cost if it had been perfect, lastly trying to pay nobody came to us with machine so had to pay on way out at door, like you would expect to do at a cafe ,not a top restaurant . Will find somewhere else next time.

Returned, yet again, to The Brasserie yesterday to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The venue is gorgeous and is our go to special place. The staff here are excellent and made a huge effort to make my husband’s birthday memorable. The food was also very good and we went home afterwards pleased that we’d chosen to visit this lovely restaurant.
