Been going to river queen for over 24 yrs, even though I live now on the other side of Chester, special sweet curry is unbelievably nice and its what I've been buying from them for 24 years. No one else does this dish, and unlike other Chinese take ways in Chester they sell proper prawn

This is the place for RIBS!!!!!Best barbecue sauce EVER!!!!I live in Liverpool but I whenever I’m over in Chester I cannot resist popping to the River Queen for some amazing Ribs ❤️

Got the special satay it was just okay nothing special and it's pretty expensive too but I think all the takeaways around garden lane are overpriced EDIT after a few months here I've realised the prices are pretty much the same citywide so I guess I was just used to the cheaper Manchester prices lol friendly staff tho ??

The chips and spicy chicken is the best i have had in the whole of Chester and believe me, I have had lots of it. The meals are very affordable and the quantity is very big. The lady is very friendly, I'm definitely coming back for more.

very very Slow service and very rude staff . one guy come to collect his meal as he called 30min before food still wasnt ready and getting it ready when he come so he had to wait!! ask for my money back

Visited during the coronation street party tonight and had the King Box and it was absolutely stunning and such good value! Will be visiting again ?
First and last time only had chips and curry, it was awful, very overpriced compared to other places
We had work lunch for 11 people every one enjoyed the food from fish and chips to Chinese food 1st class food and service thanks again .
