We really enjoyed our second visit to the Botanist. We flew in from Ireland and are staying in Chester for a few days- we previously visited in August and loved the food and cocktails. This time we met friends and had many cocktails and drinks there. We loved the cocktails and thought the price was really reasonable too. The live music was fab and we would def recommend and come again ☺️☺️

I love going to The Botanist in Chester. It's a lovely environment with a fab menu (both food and drinks). Staff are always welcoming. Great in the daytime and in the evening.

Food was very nice and so were the staff at the start. Sadly, we were rushed towards the end and given the bill without asking for it despite being well within our remaining time on the table. The restaurant was almost empty so it felt like one of the members of staff was wanting to clock-off. Some guests wanted to stay for another drink but we were made to feel unwelcome at this point.

Nice ambience and nice service.Personally, I didn't think the price-performance ratio was that good. In other words: the hanging kebabs didn't fill me up. About 5 pieces of meat and a portion of fries, I thought it wasn't much for the price
