Attended our friend's daughter's 21st. Lovely room upstairs, staff very friendly, food and booze good. Our friends said the venue was organised and helpful over the party arrangements. Great night and recommended.

Went for a drink to this pub with friends on Sunday evening and very disappointed with the way we were treated. We clearly clashed with the start of a quiz night which appears to a "closed clique" with new comers obviously not welcomed and all tables reserved! The bar man was downright rude but for the pub, they missed out on a group of 7 who would have eaten and stayed for several drinks. I would avoid this pub, particularly on Sunday evenings when itcwould clearly be better if they closed to the public?

We hired out the function room for a 40th birthday, and it was so so lovely. Sophie was very helpful, and we organized it pretty last minute so I was very very appreciative.I had so many great comments about the place, definitely recommend and will absolutely be back for more.

Just moved into Chester and found the CornerHouse nearby - and what a find! The friendliest pub, delicious food, beer is good, staff are welcoming, and the only place to be for great live entertainment.
