I eat here regularly just lately however service staff getting my order wrong last 3 times I dined here. Maybe if they stopped chatting and put their mobile phone away it might go back to how it was.It won't deter me as I love eating here, but come on listen to the order being given

The staff were extremely attentive and helpful when we listed multiple food allergies. Our toasties and paninis were delicious and filling. They gave us more food than we could finish! We definitely would like to come back.

A traditional stule cafe of which there are few left. Breakfast is perfect and good value for money.Staffed on floor by young girls who are all just lovely and do the owner credit.Good variety menu and not bank breaking. If you want sour dough with avo n harissa not here, just good delicious food at affordable prices. Hugely recommend ?

Nice friendly, informal cafe. Enjoyed the Lasagne special. Husband enjoyed the breakfast, and was able to amend it. Excellent value for money. Also dog friendly.

I’m so happy that I found the Eatery in Chester at lunchtime today. I had been past a few cafes and pubs but I felt that what they were charging for something simple (e.g. £12 for a sandwich!) was quite over the top.I must have walked past the Eatery so many times in the past and not noticed it. I loved its cosy atmosphere and the fact it was quite full and seemed popular. I ate upstairs and was pleased to see that the whole place was completely spotless. If I had been hungry enough I definitely would have ordered the afternoon tea at its incredible price but I instead I went for the quiche, chips and peas. The food was incredibly fresh and I got 3 cups of tea from the pot! (Love the fact they gave me two teabags and it was a really tasty cup of tea). I will be back for that afternoon tea!

Really nice veggie breakfast for me and husband had a turkey sandwich. Proper bread and nice salad and trimmings.

Able to feed my gluten and dairy free family. Great breakfasts would visit Chester just for this cafe. My wife even said she would consider moving just so we can eat here every day. Very friendly and great food.

Service was passable, the food the same. But it took forever to, arrive on my table.By then my tea was stone cold. The lights kept turning off for some unknown reasonSo in short Iwould never eat there again.Plus the breakfastl was very mean, so much so Iwent to a burgerbar for something to eat 15mins later,as I was still hungry after spending £8.79..

First time customer today, Google suggested it was the closest cafe to the station so tried it out. Very impressed! Nice atmosphere and very clean. Table service by very friendly staff, food quick and not only excellent quality but also hot/fresh. Fried eggs nice and runny. Good quality sausage too with no gristle! Will be back 100%.Also accept card payment.

This is the third time I’ve eaten at this cafe and once again it was wonderful! I honestly can’t fault it. Tasty food that’s also great value, friendly faces as soon as you walk through the door and the cutest resident dog ever makes it a cafe in Chester that’s hard to beat. Roll on my 4th visit!
