had nice sunday roast meal here. gammon was lovely, turkey was crumbly, yorkshire puds and carrots bit dry, been under heat lamp too long. veg was replenished often. unfortunately there was a large party of people at same time and the children were bit unruly and were allowed to run around the restaurant. felt sorry for the staff trying to sort it.

Exactly what you would expect from a Premier Inn. The rooms are clean and modern with a friendly service at reception. The breakfast upgrade is well worth doing when booking online as there is plenty of choice, including cooked and continental.Rooms: I was given a disabled friendly room as it was the last available. The room was large with a wet room bathroom but no bath. It had a door for the adjoining room which would be ideal for someone travelling with a carer.

Some of the rooms are ok but others could do with a lick of paint ect. Don't clean the rooms every day as they did before covid.

I have been here before. There are 2 separate areas and this is the first time my room in in the main building.WiFi doesn’t work here. Not a problem in the separate building. You need to let reception know if you want your room serviced and let them know what exactly you want (bed changed, towels changed, just tidying…). Today I had my room serviced but they left the window open so by the time I returned to my room (5ish) it was freezing cold. The heating is another nightmare: I would expect to get to heated room but both times I’ve been here in winter, I get to room at 16°. OK, I set the thermostat to 20° and go to bed.The bed is comfortable and warm and when I get to the toilet in the middle of the night I notice the temperature hasn’t gone too far and the set temperature is not 20° but 17°! I set it to 22° this time and it happens to go up to 19° at some point and again the set temperature moves down to 16.5°, or 17°… or anything I never set it up to.No idea how it is in a heatwave (no aircon) but definitely not great in winter with temperatures below zero.

We queued for ages to get drinks, then a group came in and they served them before us. We then queued again for ages to order food.Waited forever for food... over an hour... then it came out cold.A member of staff told us there were only 3 people working that day, which is why there was a long wait on everything. However we counted 5 people serving in the restaurant area alone.

Slow service for dinner, clear shortage of staff. Fish came out sloppy and had to be sent back. One and half hrs for one person to have a two corse dinner.Rooms: Minus 4 and slightly cold, electric heater struggled to keep room warm.Shower was really good, bed OK too.

Stayed in room 208 at the end of December with my partner and young daughter. Arrived late at about 8pm and went straight to the room. Noticed that the air con unit was making a slight noise but it was manageable and we went to bed. At around midnight the air con unit suddenly started making a noise like a vacuum cleaner in the room, and after trying my best to silence it for an hour and with no switch to turn it off I had to resort to turning the circuit breaker off - leaving the room without any sockets or lights. I was then awake until about 3am worrying that my daughter might wake up and need the toilet and would not have any lights. Told all this to reception the next morning to be told that I should've contacted them at 1am for someone to come into our room and sort it. When I explained that there was no "off" switch, the lady said there was and she came to show me how to do it - by standing on a chair and lifting one of the polystyrene ceiling tiles! I've contacted Premier Inn customer services about the "Good Night Guarantee" but it would appear that if you don't get dressed in the middle of the night and walk down the corridor to use a communal phone to contact reception, your complaint will not be valid and the Customer Relations team will be quite rude when you try to explain your decision making process at 1am with a family present in the room. If the hotel are aware of the issue, why not either a) get it fixed or b) inform guests how to deal with it?

Stayed here overnight and were allocated a annexe room which was fine. Arrived fairly late car park spaces were limited and reception was slightly difficult to find in the dark. Louise at reception was friendly and chatty. Breakfast whilst not a huge choice was adequate. I would stay here
