Just had 2 meals off the £5 Epic Dishes menu. I had the fish and chips and my partner had the Chicken New Yorker. The food was excellent as well as the very attentive staff.. I would definitely recommend coming here for food and drinks and we will definitely return. 10/10

I was going to ask for a doggy bag to take some home for the dog but then I remembered I like my dog and would never want to punish him like that! Hands down the worst food and service I've ever had

Arrived at 6:15 pm for family meal. Eaten here loads of times before no issues. This time ordered food, the food came and no cutlery or condiment’s on the table. Asked the young lad who served us where they were. He pointed ted and said you get them yourself over there. He then walked off. Very rude little boy and should not be serving people with an attitude like that. Called manager over she said you get your own cutlery. I said sorry I don’t work here. You gave to queue up to order food which is stupid no table service. Crispy chicken strips were soggy as covered them in sauce instead of sauce in separate bowl. My son’s burger was raw not even cooked. The whole place is like faulty towers. Avoid this place like the plague it has honestly gone right down lately. Will never return.

Had a fantastic meal, 2 courses from the Christmas menu was very tasty. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you even gave us something to take home what we couldn't eat

Nice wash and reliable. Good cheap pub food. So much to choose from on fhe menu! Some amazing deals! Cheaper to eat here than at home sometimes! I’ve been a few times over the last two/three months and the service has been great. A special mention to a young man called Brandon. He is so professional and a credit to the restaurant.

Lovely place to go for a family dinner. My kids loved Christina. She was really friendly and struck a great conversation with us all. The food was lovely and good value for money. Got my bluelight on in here as well so winner winner......I did have a chicken dinner as well ?. The atmosphere is relaxing and we didn't feel rushed. P.s the Ultimate Candy Mania is HUGE!

Won't be visiting again. Staff where rude and grumpy. We ordered halumi sticks to go with our mains.. But they came out as a starter so they where cold when we got our mains. We only ordered 3 mains, 2 of which came out first but one was not what we ordered, it had a salad with it which had leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, onions etc and it looked good .. But when it got send back as it was a wrong item the salad was just leaves when we got it back, not the nice shades as before... Then when the 3rd meal came out, the other 2 where already half way through there meal. I asked for my sweet chilli dip back as they had took it from my table when they took my meal back to sort and when I asked for more they said I had to pay for it. Shocking service and not well organised.
Had a lovely visit here this evening for a work christmas meal/drinks. Although we were told there may be a wait on food due to it being busy, all of our food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The food and drinks were fairly priced, very affordable overall! Our waitress Cristina was super lovely and friendly too ?

Came here on Monday evening after a busy day Christmas shopping on Cheshire Oaks, must say I wasn't sure whether we would get a table but we did! Lovely manager behind the bar I'm sure her name was Sam, she was so helpful and kept checking to see if we was okay. Thank you! Food was delicious and hot and came out to us at a reasonable time!

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at this pub and I would NOT recommend it. We arrived and ordered our food just before 5pm. We were a party of 8 people and I would say for a Sunday the pub was not overly busy. At 5.45 I spoke to a member of staff to ask where the food was up to and she told me it was “being plated up and was out next”. We then waited for another ten minutes and watched other food being brought out- we also noted customers who had arrived after us having food served to them?? Once again at 5.55pm I asked again where the food was and informed “yours is next - two seconds” . Finally at 6.05pm , the food was brought to the table. I spoke to one of the staff members and asked to speak to the manager. This female snarled back “I am the manager” but swiftly went to the end of the table. One of my party then questioned the time we had waited. The manager then snapped back” The plates are hot I need to put it down “ and he told her there was space and pointed to it on the table. I asked her what her name was and she initially ignored me and once again moved from that end of the table. I asked her when she was in front of me what her name was and confirmed she was the manager - her response?-“ I don’t need to give you my name and promptly walked off ! The rest of the food was brought by other servers and placed on the table. My wife had sizzling tandoori chicken- unfortunately there was nothing sizzling on the platter - the sizzle was burnt out of it I’m afraid. The accompanying salad was warm!! Most of our party had chips and the chips were cold on all the plates. My food was Steak and Ale pie with chips (cold) but the pie was actually quite tasty. My friends pie however had pastry that was too hard for him to eat. I noted at this point that the manager didn’t return to our table at any point so I could ask the question as to why the food had taken so long, however I was then made aware by my friend that she had commented that “they were really busy”. That is subjective really and as I commented earlier it was my opinion that it was not busy- however - if I accepted it was busy then why on earth did we at least not get an explanation as I do not believe it is reasonable to wait 1hr and 5 mins for food - and mediocre food at that- without an explanation or apology. I note in November this year another customer in a party of 6 people suffered the same fate of waiting over an hour for food which made them late for other things they were intent on doing and the pubs response was that they strive to give good service. We have paid more money to a dog sitter due to being late collecting the dogs after the delay of being served at this pub On a very positive note I spoke to Bob , one of our servers, who did in fact apologise to us as he could see how upset we were. He was very courteous and actually listened to what I had to say. He was informed of the food issues and made a point of making a part refund for those issues. He was the ONLY member of staff that gave us the time of day- congratulations Bob - you are a credit to Greene King and your customer service was exemplary. However when he made the statement that he hoped that it wouldn’t put us off coming back then I had to be honest and tell him in no uncertain terms that predominantly, the reason we would not return is because of the manager and no other reason! In conclusion , the experience was very poor, and it spoiled our evening out.

Poor and slow service had booked a table for 6 of us with plenty of time we thought for us to have our food and go to chester zoo was waiting for over an hour for food had asked one of the servers for update and was said 5 minutes 15 minutes later food turned up by then wee had no time ti enjoio the food rushed and had to go no apologize the staff could not bee bothered at all waisted our money won’t bother coming back
