Title: Disappointing Customer Service ExperienceI recently visited here and unfortunately had a rather unpleasant encounter with the staff. The overall atmosphere was marred by rudeness and a lack of courtesy. The staff appeared disinterested and unhelpful.This experience significantly affected my perception of the business, as customer service is a crucial aspect of any establishment. I hope the management takes steps and improve the overall customer experience.

Served by Gill...very friendly and professional and represented your busy very well. Food was delivered quickly only reason for 1 star less on Atmosphere is down to tables and seating which could allow more room.

Gill our waitress went out of her way to seat us all and helpfully explained our questions about the menu. She was warm and friendly but still kept an eye on other customers. Highly recommend this restaurant because of the service. My battered cod was perfectly hot, tender and crisp. A much welcomed break from shopping!Would go again to see Gill (and have Fish and Chips!).

Went today for some dinner and it was great! I was served by Gil, Nath, Helen, Will and Jan. They were all in the Christmas spirit dressed in costumes really put us in the Christmas mood. Food came quick and was super hot! Very friendly staff, would recommend!

Great Place to Eat and Service with a SmileWe have been visiting Harry Ramsdens in Cheshire Oaks for a number of years and always find it excellent. Food is good quality and always served quickly. Gill, the lady who takes the orders always has a smile and interacts well with all the customers. Great customer service and top place.

After deciding that we would enjoy Harry Ramsden's famous fish and chips we found ourselves in a small queue outside. When it was our turn, we were told to go back and stand outside and wait to be called in, which we did. We were curtly told to sit at a table. It was very busy and obvious that they were short staffed but I did not see that this was a reason for this young lady to be so bad tempered and curt. She took our order but after a while , we noticed that other groups of people who had come in later than us received their food before us. After enquiring why this was so, a young man apologised and stated that there had been a mix up with the orders. Both he and another young man were very pleasant and courteous, while running around clearing tables and serving food. However, the young lady was grumpy throughout our stay, telling customers repeatedly to go back and stand outside until called in. There was one customer in a wheelchair who was treated in just the same way.Was it worth the wait in the end? No! The fish and chips was squashed onto small plates and the chips were not good. What happened to the "Harry Ramsden" reputation? The only good thing about the place was the two hard working young men, eager to please and with smiles on their faces. Alas, we will not be visiting this establishment again.

We come once a week always greeted with a smile and happy to help us with our order. Gill is always friendly and makes us feel comfortable asking how our kids and family are! Credit to the company and that’s why we always come back !

We were very much looking forward to experiencing the famous Harry Ramsdens fish and chips while on our shopping trip! How disappointed we were! We were instructed, quite rudely, to wait outside until a table became available. Once inside our server (a female of about 30) was grumpy and rude with orher guests, especially, those arriving with walkers or, worse, mobility scooters. These customers were told that the would have to leave these items at the door! I observed 1 elderly lady struggle to the furthest table, when there was one much closer for her! The female server kept 'telling' customers to wait outside (it was cold) until called. Her attitude was disgusting! She stropped around with no courtesy to any customers that I saw. We were very much delayed with our meal, with no explanation until I went to enquire of a young male server, who told us there had been an order mix up and he appilogised and our meal was brought soon after! The food was really disappointing! The chips were chewy! The fish was over fried with far too much batter! All in all a very disappointing experience which was only slightly saved by the young man's courtesy and also another young disabled server's really beautiful nature as he communicated with custoners. The young lady is letting both the team and the Harry Ramsden name down. I would strongly suggest some mentoring to get her up to standard! I did go on to thank both young men whilst also informing them that their female colleague was letting them down. I expected better and will not be recommending this branch to anyone unless imminent change happens!
