Thought I would grab a bag of hot chocolate for my velvetiser whilst passing the store only to be told I can't buy a single bag.Just beware this isn't anything like a normal hotel chocolate store, and they don't allow you to buy individual bags / packs for most items.Makes absolutely no sense as to why given you can everywhere else.

Everyone should go to this outlet shop. Its products are fantastic and the staff are super friendly.And the offers they have are just incredible.I went there to get my Easter products and was served by the very kind Grace.Vegetarian options: When asked I was amazed to discover that all of there products had been grow from plants.Dietary restrictions: My sister is lactose intolerant which means she can only have certain or no dairy products.Hotel Chocolat provides a whole range of products that my sister can have without causing problems.Thank you Hotel Chocolat for making me and my family very happy.Parking: Depending on the day, parking can be easy.Kid-friendliness: The staff are always friendly to young children. And there’s plenty of products for the young ones. I bought my partners nephews a set of pen pals for Easter. I bet they are going to love there chocolates.Wheelchair accessibility: The fact that the outlet has no upper floors (stairs) is wonderful as it allows people who struggle with waking to get around and see all the latest products.

I went to buy 2 chocolate boxes and a small set of chocolates only to get to the till and be told I couldn't buy any of them because I needed to buy 3 of the chocolate boxes and 4 of the smaller sets. It didn't say anything on the shelves about having to buy a particular amount. So I gave them back and left, rip-off merchants.

Waited 15-20 mins in a Queue which can’t be helped due to time of year, but when i got to the front was told i had to buy into a multi buy deal and spend nearly £100 on items when all i wanted and needed was roughly £25-£30. Absolute Joke of Con. have bought individual items before in there but this time was told they can’t and i have to £60 worth of drinking chocolate and £30 of xmas confectionery.
I rarely eat chocolate, but when I do, it isn't this kind of chocolate or any other kind of continental chocolate. I went in with the intention of buying a present for my sister. However, the box I would have bought for her was too expensive. I would prefer to spend that amount of money on something that she could keep forever. She would have liked them, but she wouldn't have approved me spending that amount of money on chocolate.

No large takeaway lids and cups full to brim with a full shop of customers... asked for them to be transferred into smaller cups as didn't want to risk running into anyone. Not the best service to be honest...

I love Hotel Chocolat and always choose their chocolates for gifts. Therefore when we passed the big sign on their factory on a trip down south I was excited to call on the way back, hoping to get some bargains as with pretty much every factory shop I've ever been to.Sadly that was not the case. The prices were the same as online and there were no offers that my VIP card would not have afforded me anyway so the only saving I made was the carriage!On a brighter point the staff were very friendly and although we didn't stay, the Cafe hot chocolates looked impressive!Probably my fault for expecting something that it wasn't but the factory shop was a real disappointment. I'll stick to online.
