Had delivery from here a number of times. The last time there was quite a bad spillage within the bag. This time we had friends around after telling them how good the food was. There were no poppadoms of which we ordered 4, we did get the dips for them. And there was a large spillage again which soaked through the paper bag. The food was still nice but not sure we'll be getting delivery again. Disappointed ?

If you want a curry night then look no further than the light of India. Never had a bad experience with this place. I always get the chicken madras myself and have always been more than happy with it.

Disappointing was ordering for my birthday meal bhuna tasted more like a stew than a curry madras was not even spicy poppadoms were chewy best thing about it was the rice and onion bhajis and worse thing is it cost £45 won't be ordering there again!

Had a great time here tonight, the food was lovely. The buffet on Sunday is superb, plenty of food to go round and good prices at £15 per person.

Ordered a takeaway, wasn't told cash only ,have had hundreds of meals all over the country and this was one of the worst ,plenty of food but totally lacking in flavour ,disappointing ?

Sorry, but I was well disappointed with my takeaway, the onion bhajis tasted like they were deep fried in month old oil,and the tandoori mix grill was so dry you could sand down the doors with it, doubt I'll be visiting again,no where as good as it was in the 80s 90s

I actually feel harsh writing this but the Chicken Pathia I just tried was hands down the worst curry I have ever tried. I say tried because as I had about 3 mouth fulls as I wanted to persevere with it. The chicken was so odd. One piece was really tough and chewy and then another would just break apart on cutting it, maybe they arrive in frozen bags, I don’t know? I then tried the sauce on its own, the Peshwari Naan which was okay, if a little soggy, and the sauce just had a very strange taste, metallic almost. The onion Baji’s came wrapped in paper which I found odd and the chips were in this grease soaked brown bag. I’m still in shock as I am writing this. What a waste of money. You live and learn, never again.
