The worst afternoon tea experience I've ever had. Starting with the food which I would rate 0 stars if I could. One sandwich tasted as it was just bread and mustard seeds, another with cream cheese was so bland and tasteless. We were served tea with dirty stained cups. Staff looked like none of them wanted to be there. No attention to detail, had to ask for milk on a side as they forgot about it. Macaroons were mushy and nowhere near as they should be. One dessert tasted quite ok, but the rest definitely not worth the money. Do not recommend.

Oh my goodness, what a gem of a place. Fabulous scones, coffee, black forest hot chocolate AND black forest gateaux...yum!

Poor experience. No queue management, so everyone waiting for tables, ordering and paying all in the same queue (outside), after queuing for a table then had to go back of queue to order, only to find no brunch items available at all. Really poor, staff seemed as fed up as the customers, and a rude manager who basically couldn’t care less.

Served our food to wrong table and then 15mins later tried to serve it to us after someone else breathing all over it. Food and coffee was changed ONLY when I requested it. Waitress was abrupt when I complained. We use Pattiserie Valerie at home and have NEVER experienced any issues. Avoid this shop at all

Visited 23/02/24 .3pm Good , food and service. We had a gift voucher for afternoon tea. A DOG ALLOWED INSIDE THE RESTAURANT , BARKING FOR 20 MINUTES. All the staff did was stroke the dog. Where's the health and hygiene to do with venues serving food.

Well you sound like a up market patisserie and the prices seam to match, but entering and looking for a table it felt like a transport cafe, cheap laminated wobbly tables, dropped food on floor (was cleaned up when asked) , cheap looking chairs, definitely need a make over. While the tea for two was ok, it didn't quite live up to my expectations: I did not get a choice of (small) sandwiches, white or brown bread nor contents, tea served in a tea pot that's seen better days, tea cups more like coffee cups, tea not very hot, but it was refreshed when requested, cakes again small, and not given a choice.Only food I really liked was the warmed scones, but again not given a choice of what type. One more thing, I prefer you not to permit dogs into the patisserie, especially as there were tables outside!
