Our family celebrated my Dad's 90th birthday at Don Alberto's during January 2024. We enjoyed a warm family atmosphere and delicious food and drink from beginning to end. All our needs and expectations were met and exceeded including those of a 3 year old who was warmly received.

Recently moved to the village & was very impressed with our first visit to this restaurant. Great service, the staff were so attentive, quality food & drink, thoroughly enjoyable experience. Excellent price, will definitely be back & would highly recommend.

Another incredible meal at Don Alberto’s and a lovely start to Christmas weekend. We chose the burrato pizza bread starter and it didn’t disappoint! A huge fresh garlic pizza bread topped with fresh tomatoes and a ball of melt in the middle burrato cheese. A stuffed pepper filled with aranchini was an absolute delight of sweet and savoury flavours. The pasta was freshly made as always - I enjoyed the garlic and smoked salmon sauce which was perfectly matched the saltiness of the salmon with a creamy spinach sauce. My partner enjoyed the penne with beef steak which was looked equally delicious. Great food, great wine, a highly attentive team and fantastic ambience. Thank you Don Alberto!

Opening hours say until 9pm on a Sunday and I walked in at 8.02pm. Was told the kitchen closed at 8.00pm although had called earlier and was told last orders were 8.30pm. Say no more ?

First visit here and it won’t be our last. Nice arancini with house red to start. Followed by Farfalle Al Salmone for my wife and award winner tube pasta with steak, absolutely gorgeous. Staff were great, lovely atmosphere.

I have never really fancied Italian food but after our visit to Don Alberto’s in. Holme Chapel my opinion has changed. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and spotless. The staff are very polite, welcoming and very attentive. The food is excellent and delicious, I eagerly look forward to our next visit and I would recommend this restaurant to food lovers.
