Went on Wednesday evening. Had burger and fries. Staff were friendly. Service was good. The food was hot. Drinks all great.

Saw the mixed reviews and was a bit reluctant to go, but was pleasantly surprised. As Greene King pubs go - and as a regular traveller all over the UK I've seen a few - this is one of the good ones.The staff are friendly and attentive. The beer selection is decent enough. The food isn't the most exciting in the world (it's still a Greene King) but good for the price.They also show the sport, but only on one side of the pub so you can avoid it if you want. Would happily visit again.

Took my lad for a birthday tea he had the fish n chips I had the bacon cheese burger both meals were bang on the service was perfect then lad was only short but very helpful I wanted to tip but no cash definitely owe him a
We found the staff very friendly, helpful & efficient. We chose our meal from the Seniors menu, which at £7.99 for 3 courses is excellent value. All courses were good & food hot. We have recommended to friends & will definitely be going back again.

Very nice place. Good stuff but meal came very cold. Had to send back to have it warmed up which was was not a good start but did come back perfect. So quite happy with what we had but would not put me off. Going back will be going back soon
