We love, love Gurkha dinning! It’s the best Indian in Macclesfield, we try to come in at least ones a month just for how amazing the food and people are! My husband and I booked Christmas day lunch at the Gurkha restaurant. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and made very welcome by Hari, his lovely wife and staff. The organistaion was like a well oiled machine, the food arrived promptly and the timing between courses was perfect. As a starter we both had the smoked salmon and avocado cocktail, delicious! (Can I have the recipe please??) Followed by roast turkey with all the trimmings, everything cooked to perfection. Finally, apple and cinnamon pie with brandy custard, coffee and mince pies. A thoroughly enjoyable and happy experience and excellent value for money.

They have great range of Nepalese food and I love their thali and chicken momo. The starters are great. Very good atmosphere and staffs are friendly and polite.

We have a curry club which meets monthly, I had encouraged the club to visit the Ghurka in Macclesfield. The starters had been very good, full of flavour, we had been determined to stay with the Ghurka menu. There had been four of us in attendance, my meals had been very good, value for money was good too…flavours excellent, just perhaps go easy on the salt in the cooking. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I would recommend this restaurant for all visitors…

What a great little find this was; mixed Indian menu but with Nepalese food with some fab flavours I've never eventasted before... well worth a 2nd, 3rd, 4th visit & more ....

Try the specialist Nepali dishes such as Sherpa Lamb in preference to the standard Indian fare (Madras, Vindaloo etc), although the latter are perfectly good.
Gurkha Dining is the ideal restaurant for having a get together with friends. My friends and I all loved our meals. I ordered chicken momos for the first time and I was blown away by the delicious flavour. My friends had main dishes including the Daa Kula lamb and the Everest lamb and they were very happy with their meals. I also ordered a mixed grill and I was very impressed. I can’t wait to come back.

We had an amazing experience in Gurkha Dinning. One of my regulars in the town. Had a lot of tasty dishes. My favorites were Momos and Chowmein. One of the authentic taste of Nepal.

I had the worst experience with the proprietor of this restaurant...she is extremely rude ..fails to comply with how the customer feels... absolutely shocking..I dine alot in London.. Birmingham also Manchester.. never have I had to deal with such a rude insulting person..kept my order over an HR ..failed to call my contact number as most would automatically call and explain the delivery driver is late ..not started prepping..she thought this was ok ...she even put the phone down on me..no it isn't ..shabby rude and totally unprofessional..I would not want to spend a penny of my money on such an establishment..I like to go to places that respect customers....i feel it's important..I think her unprofessional attitude reflects the ombience of the place ..this has maybe saved me from a feeling of waste of money experience..if she can treat customers with such disrespect..Money back for me ..no Thankyou!!..
