We as a family of 4 visited this place a couple of months ago for the vegan buffet. I will be truly honest here. Food was pathetic. Other than the pakodas, nothing was worth eating as well. They did something wrong with a simple daal and aloo sabzi. There was some issues with their condiments/spices &/or the oil they have used. It was practically smelly and tasted as if gone bad.. the worst part is, when I mentioned my personal experience on FB, they initially hid my comment and then blocked me so I won't be able to tell everyone my experience. That was very amateurish of them..Anyway, someone who knows about authentic Asian cuisine would never ever should go to this place ( based on my experience).Now if the restaurant can do something about my Google review as well, go ahead!So for the record, Pakora means the fritters which you served as starters and the aloo sabzi means the potato curry which you served as a side for the rice. I defo asked about the drinks that whether they are included in the buffet or not. When you said no, I was okay with it. No harm in clarifying the doubts. And to further add, My elder son ate the dessert from our quota, as we didn't eat and so we gave it to him. Next, my younger son is only 1 yr old and he cares a damn about your tasteless, useless food and he didn't even lick your food. So, stop giving an impression that you did a favour to us by not charging my kids. I have been in Srilanka for a good 10 yrs of my life so I know stuffs about Srilankan cuisine and mind you, You are no one to tell me what is what! I didn't mention about your restaurant's horrific food to you because it won't reach to all if I won't give you a google review. And you did delete my comment on your FB profile and Blocked me! Mind you, I am not the only one to talk about how bad your food is, Go see the reviews, there are many actually!!

You can’t get better endorsement than a current diner saying “are you going in here? Good, because it’s delicious”.Kandy do a vegan buffet on the last Wednesday of the month and it’s fantastic. The onion bhajis taste exactly like Bangladeshi fiyazi, so that was a delicious surprise. The rice noodles and coconut chickpeas were the highlight of the buffet. My friend booked to come back the following month halfway through dinner!

Just paid 6 quid for 3 pinky sized duck spring rolls with a sauce which wasn't what the menu states. The jackfruit delight is mediocre unfortunately it lacks in flavour. The pork Sizzler was tasty that's why there's 3 stars, it was asked for very spicy and it was, very spicy!! Staff took 34 quid and they didn't offer me my change. I will order again to try the Sizzler for myself as that tasted good. But I can't currently recommend...

Service is attentive and the owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming and happy to help you choose. The amazing smell upon arrival sets you up ready for a wonderful feast. All the food was amazing, delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff were friendly and attentive. I’ve travelled around Sri Lanka and so can honestly say this food is authentic.
