A lovely family restaurant that has been in Macclesfield for 20 years.Lots of loyal customers, whom are welcomed and acknowledged.Food suited for western appetites. Pad Thai isn't the kind where you break the egg to get to the noodles, nor thick. They are rice noodles. Avoid putting chilli on. Spicy.Opposite of most restaurants. Dishes had lots of meat/fish/prawns but not many vegetables.Glad tried. Found through word of mouth.Vegetarian options: All dishes can be altered to suit vegan and vegetarians. I has a tofu dish that was very nice with pineapple and cashews.

Last Minute treat for my son as we'd been out all day long! Maliwan sure did the job. Absolutely delicious Thai curry's (we had a red and green, beef and prawn and shared) Apparently amazing prawn toast which disappeared as quick as it arrived and Mark was a fabulous host. He served a multitude of arrivals and juggled takeaway orders giving everyone wonderful attention. This place is fab !

We were visiting Macclesfield after living there many years ago and were staying near this Thai restaurant. So glad we visited. The owner (assume it was the owner) was so friendly and funny. Very welcoming. The waitress was also lovely. We ordered starters spring rolls and tempura. They were substantial portions and very nice. We then had a stir fry with cashews, basil and something else, penang veg curry, egg fried rice and rice noodles. All washed down with beer and wine! A very good experience and wish it was near to where we live now!
