Saturday night called into for a couple of drinks with 3 others.Not too busy at the time. Good choice of ales and drinks on offer generally. Old style sort of pub with TV's Live Music fighting each other. We had a good visit before we went to our hotel nearby.

Roaring fire outside, which is all covered and closed in warm for me to listen to the live bands able to go for a gig if you like.Then go let my feet recover and enjoy my lovely pint of cider from the pump and not thefruity bottles, just apples.Seeing people young and wonderfully still rocking it olderSeeing people you've know for years and also new and just enjoying the atmosphere.Love it!!!!?❤️?Just want the Macc Lads to play there!! Come on lads!!!Please ?
I played there in my band. Really like the venue, the owners and the staff. A great music venue with quality bands on and reasonable prices on drinks. Well recommend it.

A really friendly proper pub. Been in a few times and every time got chatting with lots of folk, such a contrast to the sterile atmosphere of so many pubs and bars these days. Great pint of Robinsons Unicorn, sport on TV and live music some evenings. First impression might be that its a bit rough - it isn't so don't be put off this genuine pub.
