Amending my review from five to two stars as I have had two very poor experiences recently. We have ordered from here for about seven years and it was previously very good.A few months ago our order took two hours to arrive from placing it to receiving it. We phoned a couple of times and it was always just “we’re very busy tonight, it’ll be there soon”. If orders are taking two hours to arrive, then you are over capacity and shouldn’t be taking more orders!Today, we ordered directly via the website, and it said to pick up at 17:30. We arrived at 17:23 to the takeaway closed up with not even a note in the door. At that moment we received a notification that our order had been cancelled - after we had made the trip out there (we had opted to pick up due to previous experience). We went to a different takeaway which was ready quickly and tasted better, so will be going there in future after being very let down twice.The only reason it is not one star is because the food is always excellent, when we receive it.

It declares right here that it's open until 14.30 today. So I drove an hour to buy a curry.And it was CLOSED!I'm hangry and there's no excuse for this.

Wow tried here for a change and certainly didn’t disappoint. Good size portions and absolutely beautiful will certainly be going back had kema rice and the tandoori chicken korma, it was delicious

The sag a loo had one hard potato, the Dahl was congealed and the chicken tikka madras was watery. All the food went in the bin. Disgusting ?

Ordered some samosas, bhaji and 2x vegetarian curries and they easily the best we have had so far! Delicious and saucy, not too much fat/salt/sugar, good portions. The chef is a lovely man who clearly has a passion for his cooking. We were very pleased and will 100% be back again!

AVOID! Placed my order online at 20:21 for delivery. Given an ETA of 21:15. It didn't turn up, and there was no answer at all from the restaurant when I tried to call numerous times. I have now placed a refund request through the local app for my order.EDIT: In response to the reply from the restaurant. My address is NOT Regent Court, and there was a postcode provided. Check your records. You did not read the order properly. You gave the order to someone else. You failed to deliver it. In addition to this, I tried to call the restaurant repeatedly from around 21:30 onwards but there was no answer on the phone. If you had answered it could have been resolved. Do not blame me for your utter incompetence and failure.

Ordered a mixed kebab, whenever I order a mixed kebab from anywhere else there is always chicken lamb and sheek kebab, chicken in this one 4 tiny pieces of lamb and no sheek kebab. Wont be ordering again very disappointing

The new owner/chef has improved the quality of ingredients and reduced the high fat and sugar content that used to be the main feature of food from this takeaway. We're still working our way through the menu but haven't had a bad dish yet, the Chef Special (Vegetarian) section is particularly good.

First time we've had a meal from here. I have to say, it was lovely, very tasty and very well spiced, piping hot. We had king prawn Rogan josh and lamb bhuna both with pilau rice, both dishes had a generous portion lamb and prawns...will definitely be back again.
