I went for a dinner with my friends. Had a lovely dinner there. The staffs were very good. We had ordered very spicy food(by choice), turned out it was too spicy for us. The staff noticed us and helped to turn the spice down and gave us less spicy food. Commendable observation and very generous and kind staffs. I truly appreciate them going an extra mile to make the dinner gathering smooth. Loved the food and atmosphere. Enjoyed listening to Bollywood songs. ???loved the kulfi pot!

This was a surprise. What a lovely little Indian restaurant in the heart of Macclesfield. The service was good and food was excellent, very good standard and lovely atmosphere.I would definitely recommend this place.

Food came obviously burnt but sadly I had to point this out. Staff friendly and service fine.Vegetarian options: No section as such apart from starters but they say then can do most dishes as vegetarian. Vegan is trickier and again not clearly marked.

I have been visiting the Shalimar in Macclesfield for the last 25 years, and I just wanted to give a shout-out to Abdul and his team. Last night, my takeaway, a chicken tikka jalfrazi (as always) was as good as ever!! Tasty, rich, spicy and plentiful. Thank you Shalimar for consistently delivering the best curry in Macclesfield. Whether you eat in, collect a takeaway or have one delivered, I highly recommend this establishment. Simply the best ?

Another amazing meal for my sons birthday. Cant thank them enough. Allowed us to bring balloons. Did a cake and sang Happy Birthday. Lovely staff, amazing food as always. Highly recommend.

Collection order. Food hot all ok but the chicken had to different colours and two different flavours. My daughters refused to eat the orange colour chicken. We ordered the same meal so was confused to why it was different colours. Everything else was OK. But it put me of eating it so it went in the bin.
