I've sat on writing this review for a while because I wanted to see if I was still disappointed after a month or two.We booked Treacle Town pie company for our wedding in June and we had bbq during the day and pies for the evening food.Me and my husband went up to get our food first and when we sat down and bit into our burgers they were raw in the middle.We took them back and were told we were the only ones that had a raw burger so they caught it in time. This was wrong as every table told us that the burgers were raw and some even took them back, but some didn't as they didn't want to be a bother.We had paid over £2500 for food and were really disappointed with how they brushed it under the carpet on the day. On your wedding day you're supposed to have amazing food and we don't feel like we did with the bbq.The pies for the evening were perfect and everyone commented on how nice they were.It was just a massive shame about the day food and we were very lucky nobody was ill.

Simply AMAZING! Mark and team catered for our wedding on Saturday 125 guests, we had the sharing boards, followed by Greek inspired bbq and finished with a trio of desserts, all of the food was delicious, well presented and the service was so efficient and quick. The waitresses were brilliant and cleared the tables promptly.We have had Mark and team for a few family parties now and will continue to use him in the future as he provides 5 star service and goes above and beyond. We had an extremely disappointing with this company for our wedding in June 2022. The paella was 1.5hrs late and was stodgy and tasteless. Wish we could have had the experience that other people who have written reviews had.

Highly recommend the Treacle Town Pie company for anyone planning a special event. I recently used this company for a 50th birthday party at home. Fair to say they smashed it, the food was fantastic, the professionalism of Mark the owner was first class, the pace and tidiness in how they operate is top notch. They did a great job with all party guests complimenting us about the food. Definitely good value and really glad we used this local business. ( we had the Greek BBQ )

Our wedding was planned in the space of 6 weeks - so Mark was given 5 weeks notice to plan and prepare everything, had to work with a small venue, small kitchen and 85 guests. We couldn’t have wished for a more seamless experience, reassuring communication and organisation, and delicious pie and mash for our guests… who were all raving about it afterwards. Mark and his team also set up our graze board for us before they left - it looked incredible!!! Thank you Mark and team. I would highly recommend you to anyone! From Mr and Mrs Hewitt!
